I noticed that, as well. It's not the first time that an absolutely crucial scene has been removed - (remember when they left out the scene of the petrol bomb thrown into Sun Hill Station, causing several deaths? First time viewers on Drama did not know who did it for months - despite it being crucial to the storyline!)

I can only assume that it was deemed 'too violent' for daytime TV and they couldn't be bothered to put it back for the evening showing.

Smithy and Gold really work well together, its one of the reason i watch The Bill tbh i'd like to see them go out and be more involved together like yesterday but i suppose with Gold being an Inspector its a bit unrealistic, it made me laugh with Smithy disobeying strict orders at least twice yesterday , not enough discipline in Sun Hill , the amount of times they have ignored Meadows orders and gone behind his back makes me chuckle

CRIMINT is a good one Also CRIS is used quite often, so that could be another for the drinking game.

Can't we put this so-called 'drinking game' on another thread? It's getting a bit boring.
I watch 'The Bill' just for the enjoyment of good drama, not to count the number of times a name or phrase is used !

Sorry but we can talk about what we like on here, it's Bill related and just a bit of fun. Who put you in charge of the thread?

Alex Walkinshaw popped up on the other side of the law in an episode of Frost from 1995, he had a small part as a teenage joy rider!

I am merely expressing a view (which I am entitled to) and I do not expect rudeness in response !

And I'm merely telling you that we can say what we like about The Bill on this thread. No problem having a view but don't tell us that we should stop talking about a subject because you're "bored" of it. You seemed rather pompous!

Jeff Stewart popped up on an edition of Blankety Blank show on Challenge last week. It was the incarnation of the show hosted by Lily Savage whose alter ego Paul O' Grady appeared in three episodes of The Bill as Ted Roach's grass Roxanne

I understand that Roberta Taylor and Alex Walkinshaw have a close friendship off-screen as well. And Scott Maslen was a best man at Alex's wedding.

Heaton suddenly losing it and shouting 'ARE YOU A COMPLETE HALFWIT?!' at Stuart made me laugh today

Btw the 'previously' segment today reminded me that I'll miss not seeing June in the future episodes! A wonderful character

I'll miss June too! I quite liked the (sort of) reunion with Jim, it tied things up for her. Does Jim ever come back again or is that the end of Carver? Feel free to put it in a spoiler in case people don't want to know

Just as well as we're not doing a drinking game, or we'd be comatose from today's episode alone.

I lost count of how many times the Skens were mentioned.

I think his storyline is going to be a hell of a lot shorter who can beat Kristen Shaw? Maybe The Skens and the Sken Massive

The first thing I saw him in was Watching as Brenda's brother-in-law David. I liked him in that, some of the interaction between him and Brenda was really funny. I quite like the Roger Valentine character too. I haven't really seen John Bowler in anything else.

He was in the second series of Auf Wiedershen Pet (1986) as Howard the architect
