That episode could very well be Series 15 - Episode 67, as the series/episode order that is online (and the DVDs) is largely fan-made. The internal running order, as above, is different.

But they've never published the official series order, so everyone just settles for the idea that 1 year = 1 series.

That would get really confusing when they got to the numbered episodes

Did anyone see Keira Knightly on Graham Norton last night? They were speaking about her appearance in The Bill when she was very young; she said how exciting the character was and how she loved being on a show she'd always watched. It was nice to hear!

Watched Section F again yesterday, this time the Watch version. Sadly that too had been cut as in line with the Drama edit; my fear is that if Watch carry on taking the Drama edit we might never see a full edit again! Hopefully though once the episodes decreased in length around 2002ish they might show them in full.

That's a bit disheartening to hear. I thought the Watch version might be the same ones that Alibi (i think?) used a few years back.
I have recordings of some of those episodes namely the Carver alcohol storyline and there are some scenes in the Alibi episodes that Drama omitted recently.

Section F was indeed a great episode.

The Bill is returning to Drama on 10th Feb does anybody know if they will be carrying on from where they left off?
on my virgin media guide it doesnt say but interestingly it says Julie Graham and Andrew Lancel are in it obviously much later in teh series that might just be a mistake.

Yes, it picks up from where it left off. The last episode that went out (31/12/13) was BEASTS (season 16 episode 9) and the first of the new run (10/2/14) is advertised on the Drama site as TRUSTING THE ENEMY (season 16 episode 10) featuring a DS Beech storyline.

I didn't manage to tape the episode; The Rate for the Job

Is there anyone who could put this particular episode on DVD for me? I'll pay whatever you feel is necessary!

Have I missed "The trial of Eddie Santini". Had the series carried on, i think it would have aired mid January.

Anyone know please?

George Rossi (DC Duncan Lennox) was in a film that was shown on BBC2 last weekend. Called "Comfort And Joy" it dates back to mid 1984. I didn't recognise him at first - he had a full beard and moustache and a curly mop of hair - but as soon as I heard his voice I immediately recognised him.

The film also featured the gorgeous Clare Grogan, of Altered Images and later Eastenders fame.

The film is on the BBC iPlayer until the early hours of Sunday morning. Unfortunately I didn't think too much of the film, it all seemed a bit contrived.

A word of warning, TRUSTING THE ENEMY (11:00 Monday 10th February)only gets the one showing; there's no next-day or overnight repeat.

Okay, I missed that but there's no next morning repeat and those who regularly watch the newest episode in the later time-slot still need to beware. I shall be recording at 11:00 and at noon on Monday with series link attached to the noon showing.

What happened to the watch bill episodes? The last one before Xmas was one about Leon Taylor on 17/12 and then they started again in January with 'the party's over' which I assume is an earlier series one?

Did they not sure the last episodes?

I'll have another go: Episode 1357 "Deep End" is where Drama started last year and reached episode 1485 "Beasts" on Tuesday. So that's 129 episodes roughly 6 months' worth @ 5 episodes per week.

When Watch starts with episode 1358 "The Party's Over" next Monday (they're omitting "Deep End" for some reason) the gap between the two channels will stand at 6 months as above, but the hiatus on Drama until 10th February will reduce this to 105 episodes, 21 weeks or roughly 5 months, again @ 5 per week.

Hope I've got it right this time!”

Very complicated, I'm not sure whether to stick with the Watch repeats or go back to Drama

Please could someone help me out with this? Its the only one I have missed throughout the 1998, 1999 and 2000 episodes? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't remember his last episode at all first time round. Had no idea he left like this. I think I must have started dipping in and out at this point and I feel the same way now watching it again.

Enjoyed the episode though. Apart from the camera work - I hate all that swirling camera work
