Series 11 Part 1 and 2 arrived in the post for me yesterday, so I've started watching episodes from the beginning of 1995 now.
I haven't got to that episode yet, but I do like Danny Glaze. I just watched Liquid City and a Pound of Flesh.
Liquid City - brilliant episode. I really liked the crime story. Des and Reg are a fantastic double act, and I also loved the series of confrontations between Des and Chandler! The tension between them is fantastic to watch. The way Chandler has been written as a character so far has been fantastic. He's been an enigma, but we are slowly starting to find out more about his mysterious past as the skeletons threaten to come out of the closet. It's subtly done. As well as finding out a little bit more about him, at the same time we are left with more questions and we become more intrigued by him. In a way, Marquess undid all the good work with Chandler's character development, as he made him less subtle and mysterious, and more an obvious pantomime villain.
A Pound of Flesh - this episode started off slow, but really rallied and got more exciting by the end. I've always liked Boyden, so pleased to see the focus back on him again as he tries to help his daughter.”

I like Des and Reg together as well, as much as Des takes the piss out of Reg i do genuinely believe Des likes Reg, in fact i think he is the only person Des likes at Sun Hill.
I felt sorry for Boyden, his daughter is a nightmare, spoilt and stroppy, and along with Vicky Hagen nagging him, he had a tough couple of episodes
