The arrest scene of Terry's killer was weird just the way she was wailing like a banshee.

I liked todays episode, i thought it was well written, no excitement as such, but i was intrigued to see how it ended.

Nice to see the debut of Cathy Bradford.
Interesting that Sara Stockbridge appeared again, this time as day centre worker Liz Terry. A couple of years back she played a different character who was a youth centre worker. It was the storyline where Quinnan returned to the Jasmine Allen after recovering from his stabbing and helped her out at the youth centre. It was odd seeing them together today not knowing one another. You'd think they could have had her playing the same character.

Thing is were more likely to remember the extra characters given that the episodes are being shown everyday, at the time though it would have been over 2 years beforehand so we would be less likely to remember.
So Sara Stockbridge played the Youth Centre worker, the Day Centre worker...a shame she didn't have a part as a Day Care Centre worker for the elderly to complete the hat-trick! She maybe just has a face for those types of roles!

Bradford was actually quite likeable before she became a total looper.
All I could think about when they were saying "Gary Stevens" was the former Everton defender. |

Why did Bradford go nuts basically?
I remember she was a bit narked initially because she'd been a sargent in Hong Kong & she could only be a Pc here. Is there anything else I've forgotten? |

She went nuts because... Marquess.
![]() The excuse for her going loopy was hastily written in to one of her final episodes, an otherwise garbage storyline. |

This may have been deliberate and a reference to the Spurs player of the same name. There was another episode where somebody had been badly beaten up. "That looks bad, have we got anybody in the frame for it?" asks one constable. "Yes, we've pulled in Paul Miller, Graham Roberts and Davy MacKay, three very nasty characters" was the answer

Just watched the one where DC Lennox went to the Antique Squad, the woman who tried to sell the fake painting, was the Solicitor from Heartbeat, who married PC Mike Bradley.

Terry Knowles' death was really shocking - so sudden and out of the blue. These episodes have been brilliant and have combined comedy and drama really well.
Reg and Des in that public toilet trying to get the ring off Reg's finger and I love Des's nickname for Tony Stamp - "moany Tony" so true
