Strange how Bradfords suddenly changed, she was getting on well with everyone when she joined, seemed nice, then all of a sudden, she just changed, there was a weird bit with Cass over the pill she found in her bag, and then she started watching Kerry and her fiance all the time, before telling her fiance about her and Nick.

PM did that with a few characters found it a bit daft really

I am enjoying the episodes at the moment, you really can see how much more of a soap it became but it did hook you from one episode to the next which was good. Not sure I like the Matt Boyden/Craig storyline as they were again fine at the beginning them PM came it and created tension between them, although some of it is quite funny when Craig pretends to fancy him. I watched all these episodes before but 12 years on it's great to see them as I can't remember a lot of the storyline outcomes, I just remember bits and pieces.

We have had storylines featuring the personal lives of nearly all the characters apart from Cullen, the only think we know about him is that he and Chandler go back a long way and know secrets about each other that could ruin either one of thems career if it got out!

We won't get any personal storylines for Cullen either as he won't be there too much longer.

Cullen got out quickly and wisely before Chandler's past hit the fan.

Star studded episode today

Mandy from Eastenders
David Walliams

and my favourite Lewis Collins, wearing a thick wig and seemingly playing the part of Roger Moore, he got the wooden acting perfect

David Walliams in quite possibly his best acting role ever.

I thought he did a rather good job as well

Did Gina Gold ever get anything wrong??? Her whole attitude of "I'm right and everyone else is wrong" is getting more and more annoying. Just for once I'd like June Ackland to get her own back

I do enjoy seeing Cullen sticking it to Chandler.

I have to say that having now watched deep into 2003 (having been watching the DVDs rather than Drama) that it was clear that the show was clearly finding it's feet again in 2002 following the transition to serial drama, and that some of the episodes are too top-heavy on the personal side and don't actually feature any crime storylines.

I actually thought that the episode featuring Lewis Collins and David Walliams (#035) was one of the best of 2002 - an excellent blend of character/storyline, with a well-thought out story and some excellent cast performances. The fact it was also wound-up in a single episode rather than be dragged out over multiple episodes was also a winner.

When the series finally reaches 2003 on drama, trust me you are all in for some great episodes.

I'd have to disagree a bit there, 2003 is where it all starts getting a little too far-fetched - though 2004-2005 is worse.

But if you're more a fan of soap plots, then yeah you are in for some great episodes. Those fans looking for a good crime drama though, should probably give up after the conclusion to the serial killer storyline, it doesn't improve. (or you could suffer through them anyway out of loyalty - I did lol)

Duncan Lennox's decision to leave Sun Hill seemed to come out of nowhere

I know I always liked Duncan too!

I'm enjoying the 2002 episodes, from what I remember I wasn't quite so keen on 2003 but we'll see.

Gina Gold really has been a breath of fresh air to the series. Really enjoyed her putting other people's noses out of joint I liked how she dealt with the guy attacking gay men, kneeing him in the nether regions and her attitude to CSU and her rivalry with June. Roberta Taylor plays her to perfection.

I actually can't remember 2003 or 2004 that well, so looking forward to when we get there.

If Drama keeps screening The Bill at its current pace can anyone guestimate how long it will be till Todd Carty joins?

If Drama doesn't put it on hiatus until after Xmas, then I would guess around mid March.

Lewis Collins RIP, and David Walliams

Thought it was a bit odd when they had to let him go, as he'd wiped and formatted his HDD, so couldn't get anything of it, as they still could.

I'm really fed up with the Kerry/Luke/ Craig love triangle story line and still has a while to run yet!

One of the down sides of the current run. It just gets boring.

Anyone spot Graham Cole performing as part of the cast of White Christmas during the Pip Schofield Text Santa thing the other day?
