I had looked in the RT and obviously didn't see it scheduled in the usual evening slot. I sadly assumed it was off air until after Christmas so I'm pleased it is still on. I'll record it and watch it at night

Again what looked like very poor editing in todays episode which featured Chandlers last episode. Assumed in the original that Chandler & Marsden had a bit of a set- to which wasn't shown and next thing both were on the floor.

Watched the first ever episode of Death In Paradise on Alibi today and Karl Collins aka Danny Glaze was in it

I'm still really enjoying the Bill at Drama pace - the Chandler storyline may have been OTT at times, but it has been highly enjoyable throughout. Also nice to see Cass finding some happiness with Simon Kitson (he's a bit of a cutie isn't he )

I really like Sam Nixon at the moment and liked her introduction. I think its only in later episodes when I start to find her a bit annoying. Add me to the list of people who dislikes Kerry. Robbie Cryer is also a prime candidate to pick up the award for the most annoying character ever, alongside moany Tony Stamp!

Also enjoyed Nick and Phil's undercover storyline in the nightclub. I thought both characters worked well together and loved watching the conflict between the both of them - well acted by both of the actors. Always had a bit of a soft spot for Nick Klein!

I'm not really enjoying the Craig/Kerry/Luke storyline. Not that keen on Luke's character this time round. I preferred his character in his original stint, and Craig and Luke's characters don't have much chemistry for me at all. It just feels like it was a sensationalist storyline done for the sake of sensationalism, as at the time gay kisses and gay affairs were still seen as a bit taboo on primetime ITV. It just doesn't work for both characters for me - I much preferred Craig when he was more professional - he doesn't seem the type to let his personal life affect his work.

Also I really don't like to say it but I just don't like Jim and June's storyline at all - they've been acting so childish lately. Trying to keep their affair under wraps is all so tedious. I don't like the direction these characters have been taken in at all.

Overall, I'm still enjoying at this pace but it's been hit and miss in some places. In an average episode, I usually find I enjoy at least 75% of what's going on but some stories let the episodes down for me.

Jane Danson's first episode today , I liked Gemma BUT the character was pointless story wise as it really centered on her sexulity and that was it , am surprised Jane Danson took the part really as as an Actress she was wasted on that part

I'm kind of sad to see Tom Chandler leave The Bill. I think Steven Hartley did a great job portraying him. His downward spiral towards the end was excellent. Due to watching it on a daily basis it did seem a bit quick though. I remember on first transmission it felt more natural.

I'm not sure about the editing on Drama, I have the unedited version meaning how it went out in 2002 from the box set of dvd's & all you saw was the gun going off then the credits came on so I don't think much was missing on Drama? But I do know Drama snip bits here & there.

I noticed that as well,,,, one minute they were talking, the next minute they were huffing and puffing on the floor

I'm a bit confused by the time frame, The Sun Hill fire was supposed to have happened in April and Debbie must have gotten pregnant shortly after that, she said after her wedding that she was 7 months pregnant,so that presumably means that it must be October/November time and yet all the leaves are on the trees and the characters in outside shots look to be enjoying warm sunny weather!

Your time-frame is about right as far as original dates of transmission are concerned - mid-April the fire and we're up to mid-October now, but that's only 6 months anyway. However I think it's been established here in previous discussions that we can't assume events take place in real time e.g. one of the PCs (I forget which now) was beaten half to death in one episode and lying battered and bruised in hospital, yet two episodes later he was up and about apparently completely recovered and unmarked. As for the trees, obviously they filmed episodes as and when they could and for future transmission without regard to such niceties of detail. I think we're not supposed to notice.

Merry Christmas to all you Bill fans

Merry Christmas Davey - Just had a scare, put the tv on and the drama channel had disappeared! Luckily after retuning it came back again!

I was watching the repeat airings this morning on Drama and noticed that the repeat of yesterday's episode had the next time trailer at the end and they didn't include this on yesterday's episode. With the new episode today, they included the previously trailer at the beginning. Does this mean that they will continue to show them in future?

Yes, or maybe no.

Also, do you create a new user for every programme you comment on? And this is The Bill on Drama. I'm intrigued.
