I was watching the omnibus this morning and the subtitles were awful.

"sierra rescue" for "sierra oscar", among other clangers

What Drama should do is show The Bill at 9 pm or 8pm as the previous day's episode then follow it up at 9pm as the current new episode, Then there is no reason for the cuts talk about planning That was one of the reasons I bought the box sets.

I didn't realise he lost his son last year

http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/e...her-in-4063653

And a bit here on why he may have left The Bill

Paul Usher -Des Taviner- to leave?

http://www.geocities.ws/cwpaul70/bill10.html

Paul Usher who has played The Bill's PC Des Taviner since April
2001 is to leave. Apparently he had an argument with producers because they wanted to draw his
character into the seedy world of prostitution.
Viewers will see him leave dramaticaly after he causes fellow partner PC Reg Hollis
to have an accident. -Hasn't poor old Reg had enough?
I mean he's been arrested for murder,
been kidnapped and now in an accident...-
”

Interesting facts on the links, I thought Paul Usher wouldn't have been happy about someone or something on The Bill he's a real down to earth guy can't take that away from him, Scot Maslin [Phil Hunter] left because he said The Bill had become a soap opera!!! Then went in Eastenders I'm trying to work that one out

It's not on tonight. But on tomorrow at 7.10am instead.

I wish they'd stop messing with the times of the night-time one. One day last week it was on at 2.20 in the morning!!

Not long before Madford leaves but the show has a ready made replacement as Psycho-Cop in the person of Gabriel Kent

I love how Gina had Gabriel's number right from the start.

Honey had better watch out. Getting close to Brandon will put her in Madford's firing line.

I've only just started watching on Watch, with series 19 close to finishing do they go straight into series 20 or not.

Might seem like a silly question but thought i'd check

Not at all. I think you're meaning the Drama run. It's on the 2003 episodes and no reason to suggest it won't go into 2004.

I think Watch might be on the penultimate series of 2009 at the moment.

I wouldn't be too sure on that, Watch jumped 2000 to 2002 last year I emailed them to ask why & They said oh it was because the public wanted it that way.......... What tosh, who are these so called programme planners.

Bought his contract out I can't see the BBC doing that, I read in a TV mag or somewhere him saying The Bill had become too much of a soap opera & he decided to leave, I thought that a bit strange so what's Eastenders then???? Eva Sharp leaves soon I think & guess where she went........... Yes in one Eastenders I don't watch it though but I have seen promo clips they show she is still there, How depressing that programme is.
