Was the new Australian copper in Neighbours or Home and Away, i'm sure ive seen him before.

Also, what is Kent up to ??, he tells the neighbours about that bloke being a peadophile, do we find out he has been abused as a child or something

I thought he played Joel Samuels, Malcolm Kennedy's mate ... I loved that period of Neighbours. Haven't watched it for years cos it went down the pan ..

Yeah I really liked him in this, and I like the fact that he's not a straight forward bad guy but has his "good" side along with the evil.

according to Wiki he played Shane Ramsay

Ah, that makes much more sense I missed the 'new' part of the original post.

Dreadful editing in yesterday's episode when Gabriel was punching Stafford

Indeed, she came into it first as a resident before becoming a PCSO!

And today we saw PC Emma Keane(?) too, only in her case playing a completely different character (rape victim).

The last few episodes with Don Beech and Peter Somethingorover (all I can think of him is as Stitch from Casualty!) I have found so tedious - and I vaguely recall thinking the same when they were originally shown. Don't know if it's just that I didn't watch it when Don Beech was a character before and don't particularly like the actor, but I just found them such boring episodes. Especially alongside the Gabriel Kent storyline, which I think was just absolutely awful.

Loved yesterday's ep on the boat. The Don Beech scandal was a standout story I thought

They seriously took Beech to his own house, then took the handcuffs off him so he could be with his Girlfriend in a room with the door shut, (which we all knew was going to be a con), they must think we are stupid

I still havent decided if i like him as a character yet, i don't get what they are trying to do with him, I cant really work out if they are trying to make him a villainous character or not tbh

I thought we had seen the back of Christine Weaver and her thug of a husband, but both of them keep cropping up like a bad penny! Someone please tell me they will go for good in the not to distant future!

Would Ken's son really have been released?? Granted the prostitute had some pre-existing condition which caused her death but he still hit her which would surely be classed as assault?

Not many people are sent to prison for slapping someone when they have no history of violence , circumstances are taken into consideration.

The editing is becoming silly , if it is to do with language or violence then ok edit it during the day but show the full show at night time , but then the other day we saw Gabriel beat up an old man, yes he was a paedophile but it was still violent.

If it is for ads which I think it largely is then make the programme longer, I mean they make Birds of a Feather 45 mins so you get the full original programme plus ads.

Not sure if you want to know so I will spoiler it

Spoiler
They did start him off as a character you like to hate especially with the Eva scenario, but he does grow on you and they did make him far more human and likeable as time went by.

The sort of spin offs after he escaped were :

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beech_is_Back

Originally they were going to kill him off but left it open

The he got back to the UK and was caught and sentenced to life

http://thebill.wikia.com/wiki/Don_Beech

Then we had these latest eps with him in prison and escaping

I used to be in touch with Jonathan Young (exec. producer 2005 - 2010) and I often asked him questions and one of them was whether or not Beech would eventually be captured (again). He did say they occasionally discussed Beech at long-term story conferences, but it never did fit in with the then current storylines.

is the Beech stuff over yet I find him quite dull and tedious , also I am finding Gabriel more interesting this time around tho I agree the editing is appalling .

The PCSO's start soon don't they ? I remember when they started as I was a PCSO at the time
