Will Daft Punk and Robin Thicke have any more hits?
After the massive success of Get Lucky and Blurred Lines, will either artists have any more hits from their albums?
Also, how well do you think Robin's album will do after the success of Daft Punk's album? |

I think Robin Thicke's new single will do well, it's pretty catchy.
Daft Punk... who knows. If someone asked me a year ago if I thought they'd have the biggest selling song of 2013 by the middle of the year, I'd have said they had no chance. I think it's very easy to write off surprise hits from acts that have never had a massive hit before as one hit wonders. This is true in a lot of cases, but look at the likes of PSY, Owl City, Carly Rae Jepsen, Fun., etc. - they've all had fairly big hits since their 'monster hits'. |

Daft Punk won't. They may or may not score a moderate hit thanks to the buzz of 'Get Lucky', but that's it.
Robin Thicke will definitely have a string of hits this year though. His second single, 'Give It 2 U' is pretty cathcy and it won't be a huge #1 global smash hit like 'BL', but it can be a good top 10 hit around the world. The same applies to a few more album tracks, judging by the snippets, especially 'Ooo La La' and possibly 'Ain't No Hat 4 That' and 'Take it Easy on Me' as well. |

Robin Thicke and Daft Punk both had hits in the past, so I don't see why they won't continue to have hits in the future. From last year, fun., Carly Rae Jepsen and PSY all managed to get more hits even though a lot of people thought they wouldn't.
From Daft Punk's album I think Instant Crush or Doin' It Right could be hits, as they've very catchy. Daft Punk also have the collaborations on Kanye's album which could be hits (although they're not credited on them). Robin Thicke will definitely continue to get urban hits at the very least. His next single Give It 2 U with Kendrick Lamar I think could be another hit (although not as big as Blurred Lines obviously). |

Robin only had 1 other hit in the UK "Lost Without U" in 2007. A shame the singles since have done nothing - he's released so many great songs "Magic", "Sex Therapy", "It's In The Mornin'" "Rollercoasta" "The Sweetest Thing", "Love After War"....

Lose Yourself to Dance could be a big hit for Daft Punk.

I don't rate them at all to be honest. Daft Punk Get Lucky was catchy but Blurred Lines was annoying.

Don't see Daft Punk having another smash like Get Lucky this year at least. Most of the people who bought their album probably won't be the sort to rush out and buy singles from an album they have already got. They do always come back with a big hit though so don't be surprised to see them in the upper echelons of the chart again when they bring out their taster single for their next album

Daft Punk-yes,but they've had their peak IMO
Robin Thicke - not sure. He's bubbled under for so long I kinda expect him to go back there |

Yes, but prob not as big as their current singles
That Britney Spears song someone said wont be a big hit, 7 at best here in the UK, Cher's new single Womans World could be the next hit of the summer though |

It's hard to tell. They've both been around for years so I don't doubt they'll still be around for years to come but whether they stay as hot as they are right now, I'm not sure. I haven't heard either of their next singles so again, I can't judge, but it'd be nice to them sustain their popularity while they have it. Gotye, Fun and Carly Rae Jepsen had monster hits last year and out of them, Fun and CRJ had one other hit each while Gotye faded away. Time will tell.

Daft Punk probably won't from this current album. But Robin Thicke's Take it Easy on Me is awesome and deserves to do well.

Yeah, Daft Punk, who've been having hit singles since 1997 or so, are never going to have another hit again while they're currently at, arguably, their commercial peak.
