Its not his business ?

Its a complete waste of time him being there !

He shouldn't have even been eligible from the start.

He's a shape-shifting lizard.

You have to wonder why the researchers didn't simply check. It wouldnt be to unnecessarily humiliate him on television now would it?

He comes across as a chancer riding on other people's coat tails.

It's a stitch up in a way imo. There is no doubt in my mind that the producers knew this ages ago. Come on, this is TV after all! Jordan was a credible candidate and so they knew he'd do ok and stay in for a while. They knew it would be tv gold if he got to interview stage.

TV gold it was, but brutal at the same time. For me that HAS to be the most incredible moment in Apprentice Interview stage history, and we've had some corkers.

I agree, let through for some interview / boardroom dramatics. He was never a true candidate.

I agree largely that he shouldn't have got on the show with that as his business idea. It was ludicrous.
I still think it was pretty malicious and spiteful of Claude not to give him a proper interview or a chance to defend himself, though.

He could have set up a new business with this other guy, this other company is irrelevant. There is no reason why 3 people can't be in a partnership with a 50:25:25 split. This isn't Big Brother you can't have two people fill one spot in The Apprentice.

Sugar doesn't get technology at all. Just look at Amstrad.

I thought that Jordan has already had 2 partners....and those 2 partners do not mention anything about Jordan's involvement in the business. Maybe I misheard it???

Simple; his denouement made good television and the programme makers knew it would...

No, the person he was proposing going into business with had set up another company with someone else. Were Sugar to proceed with his idea then he could easily have set up a newco and bought this guy in.

Alternative would be to employ someone but for a startup technology company a 25% stake is probably cheaper and a better way of making it stick.

There's always some fall guy, remember Stuart Baggs? This year it was Jordan.

Yeah agreed. He was always going to be fired, it was just a question of when.

I think you mean to refer to him by his full title Stuart Baggs 'The Brand'

Come on the guy was a legend. Hilarious!

Jordan got this far on a mixture of merit and luck.

Did I read somewhere that he and Louisa had a relationship whilst in the house? Maybe they left him there for good tv

He's an Oxford graduate and ran a society there. Most of the BBC are from the same background. He got in by knowing people.

His business plan was basically to act as an agent or broker, putting a deal together, then walking away with a quick profit. He had no real interest in sticking around and building anything up IMO.

I think that must have been bollocks considering Luisa is married, as revealed in tonight's episode.

I said something to that effect a last week. He blatantly was there so that if he got far enough the interviews and boardroom would be entertaining. What producer in their right mind is not going to allow that in their show? It makes for priceless TV.

She apparently confirmed that there was a 6 month relationship or something. Something to do with her not being with her husband at the time of the relationship. I think it was an article here on DS either that or someone posted the article somewhere here but apparently it did happen.

Amstrad was once Europe's second largest computer manufacturer, behind Olivetti, back when Europe made computers. It was also either the largest or second largest (I forget which) makers of TV satellite boxes.

I don’t know whether to feel sorry for him or laugh at him. It is never nice to see someone looking as though their world has just come crashing down on them, but at the same time how could a highly educated and intelligent man not see the flaw in his own plan? Did he not think that at the very least he should have had more than a gentleman’s agreement from his current business partners before entering the Apprentice!
