Personally, ignoring the people for a second, these are two of the most well rounded business plans since the format changed, Tom won, but had a half baked idea and it was the back up who saved him and generally the business plans needed a lot of work, Leah seriously impressed me at the interviews, she knows her market, has the figures down and would make a lot of money (you remember come next week she'll have launched the clinics to 8 million people and same for Luisa) Luisa, again has her head screwed on, knows her market and is a little 'safer' but I think its an incredibly close run thing and I'm so glad they've gone back to a proper final this year so I will be glued

That's pretty much bang on the money, I can't tell which way he's going to jump - although mainly because I wouldn't have invested in a single candidate on this series! I'm guessing Luisa as I don't think he'll want the potential reputational damage of the cosmetic surgery business. I think the OP is doing Leah a bit of a disservice, she has her good points and bad points; Francesca was the weakest candidate to get near the final in my opinion.

Seems like the whole thing is more about style rather than substance IMO, this year.

Not really keen on Luisa at all and I can't say I recall much about Leah other than she was part of the "mean girls club" at the start of the series.

The business plans of all the final five were all rather uninspired and/or half-baked and, frankly, I suspect Lordsiralan would prefer to invest £250,000 in a container-load of knock-off chinese iPads to sell on eBay rather that hand it over to any of this lot except that he's obliged to.

Definitely the weakest F2 in that you have a candidate who would be a disaster to work for and a mediocre plan (Louisa) against someone with middling management skills but a plan that has moral and reputation drawbacks (Leah).

Luisa didn't bully Jason and Leah rightfully opposed Zee's leadership. He was a shit PM and blatantly chauvinist, the only thing Leah did wrong was not go with her gut and eventually give in.”

You may not class how Luisa treated Jason as "bullying", but she didn't help by putting constant pressure on him to make a decision. Neil or Francesca would have worked much better and calmer with Jason

As for Leah and Zee, yes Zee was a sexist idiot but Leah was opposing his leadership right from the start because she wasn't PM. Also, Leah went behind Zee's back by going to the mall not the souk

Do people really think that Luisa is going to win?? Leah is a thousand times more competent, how anyone could consider investing in a business with Luisa is beyond comprehension.

It will be Leah.

Luisas bad behaviour and leahs perceived conveitedness coupled with karens sexist comments has created unenthusiam in our house with this years finale

You really need to open your eyes if you think Neil would've worked much better and calmer with Jason, who he constantly thought was below him. That might be the biggest joke I've read thus far.

Leah only started opposing his leadership when Zee proved he was incompetent and rather misogynistic. Even though Leah was sub team leader, he kept answering to Neil and seeking his input. Her only real criticism from Lord Sugar was that she didn't go with her gut, not that she deviated from Zee's plan.

I haven't been that enthused by any of the contestants this year and the final, which I will watch, is a damp squib as I don;t care for either finalist or their business plans.

On the other hand, Luisa has proven track record with 3 businesses operating in profit.

Leah is completely untested in a real world business context.

Tbh, I think it's a very close call, but I'm just trying to make the point that despite the ditziness, the fake boobs and the somewhat abrasive personality Luisa is a strong prospect. If Siralan feels he can deal with her at a personal level she's by far the safer choice, in more ways than one.

Agree 100% that Leah is conceited, but isn't that air of superiority what you get from Doctors ?? They are supposed to know more than you or I about medical stuff.
I think "bedside manner" might be a more apt description.

"Luisa's bad behaviour" leads me to think it might be why she may have had problems with her material suppliers, and why she thinks there is a demand for a new wholesaler.

If her businesses are so successful why is she even on this programme?

She's spotted a gap in the market, she thinks it's potentially lucrative and she needs the investment to capitalise on it.

Why should the fact that she's currently in business and making money preclude her from being on the apprentice?

That is something new you have come up with and most likely very true. Since she is going to go into competition with them it would be good if they came on here to perhaps confirm it.
One should also mention that there is great difference with dealing with the public where one can have 'problems' with some of them. There are always others.
This is not the case with a wholesaler dealing with bakeries or shops. There are not that many to go round. If she starts having problems with them she wont last long.

When Neil and Jason worked together on the caravan task, Neil did give Jason a fair chance to sell

As for Leah and Zee : this is my order of who was most at fault for the Dubai task

Zee
Kurt
Leah
Neil
Natalie

I really like this final two! In fact this is my favourite since Kate and Yasmina. Stella was boring, as were Tom and Helen, as were Tom and Ricky. The final two this year are interesting characters, ad well as rounded business people and they have great business plans. Perfection in my eyes.
