The Final - deliberately designed for Leah/Luisa?

I see that in the final they will be prototyping, for want of a better word, their businesses.

How exactly would Jordan, Neil and Francesca have done this?

Luisa's and Leah's are both 'shops' aren't they? Well, Luisa's is manufacturing for shops, and Leah's will be a walk-in clinic.

How would Neil, for eg, have managed to find several people selling their house and proved his plan worked in a matter of days?

Or did they only decide on the format after they had picked the finalists? They've never done this before, have they?

I thought this as well, I doubt that its "fixed" for a certain two to be in the final but it does seem a bit fishy.

I don't agree. I thought it stood out a mile after the interviews that Neil and Jordan were goners. One had a useless business plan and refused to consider any Plan B, and the other didn't even own the business he was trying to sell.
I don't like Luisa but it was a fair win for her. I also thought Leah was impressive and Francesca did well but was very very weak on the figures.

I agree with what you say, but that's not my point. My point is, how would Neil and Jordan create their businesses in the final? I know their ideas werw shaky at best, but I just wondered whether the final was planned before or after the producers knew who was going through?

Neil's would be easy. Knock up a prototype website. Find people selling houses by checking the small ads in local papers. It is not that far removed from the dating task.

Neil said he sold his own house by himself so why cant anyone do it. The truth is, its not hard to be your own solicitor when selling a house just sign a few easily available forms ( I think half a dozen), find some trusting way of keeping the 10 % after the contract exchange and that is it. If you have no mortgage left its even easier. You dont leave and hand over the keys till you get your money.
No one seems to trust themselves and rather pay thousands for the solicitor's services.
That is really the fault with Neil's plan. When it comes to 'Big' money people dont trust themselves.

Fran's dance studio plan would have been easy enough to do as a task as well. Like Luisa and Leah's plans it's a "shop" format.

Jordan's however...

Jordan's would be incomprehensible. Francesca could do it. Neil would have to have his basic website design ready. But so will Leah and Luisa. The problem would be some people would need to show their sites working to be most convincing. The bigger problem would be for Tom or Jade in series 8 which were not televisual or Tom in series 7 who would have just waved a comfortable chair before Lord Sugar made him drop it and take a nail file out of his pocket. How do you advertise a nail file and make it look great?

Leah has a hard job. She has to sell it without raising the focus on any of the major concerns with cosmetic surgery , and dealing with them if possible. If she makes it sounds too good it may look like shes pushing it irresponsibly. .But she can't spend too much time on the negatives, or over promise to avoid the risks. How do you say people need this when many people will sit there and think no they don't?
