Thanks for posting the bedgate video Troy. I fell asleep before this kicked off.

I am stunned CBS/BB has allowed this to continue. I realise all they care about is ratings, but the way things are going, I can see someone lashing out and then you can bet it would be them being removed from the house.

Over here this would be in all the tabloids and Ofcom would be inundated with viewer complaints. Do they not have television watchdogs in the USA? Surely the tv companies have to answer to somebody?

I also don't think it is entirely right that they have concentrated it all on Aaryn. Yes she plays a major part in this, but there have been others who are making racist and homophobic remarks. However, Amanda has spelled it out to Aaryn a number of times about what she is saying and how she is coming across as offensive, but she refuses to acknowledge her behaviour, much less modify it. Maybe BB needs to issue her with either a penalty nomination, or make them all sit down in front of the tv screen and play them back all the clips. The longer she is in there, the more damage is being done and surely the sponsors are going to start to withdraw their support of the show.

Julie Chen did say comments by a few people, but yes the rest seem to be getting off lighter.

Also don't think punishment is the right answer. Of course it may change behaviour but that might just be because they don't want to be punished again, and not acknowledging their wrongdoing.

Now Amanda has started pointing it out to her directly, not sure what else could be done, apart from BB ejecting her. Would like to know what Aaryn's family feel about all this, because surely they must see that is probably good idea to throw in the towel for her at this point?

It's made the news but hasn't exactly caused ripples yet.
As ever, outside of a core group of diehard viewers no one seems to care about goings-on of Big Brother.

There's also the issue of a great majority of these events happening on an internet live feed. A tv watchdog type organization would have little sway here.

I thought CBS/BB would lose sponsors over the Evel Dick shenanigans years back but it only brought in more viewers and more money. Unfortunately this might be a trend repeated. Ratings have been going up as they unveil more of Aaryn's inclinations.

I've been really looking forward to watching the eviction and then catching up on the livefeed but now I don't even think I'll bother. Why can't they stop the racist shit, what is wrong with them.

Hope this week Helen & Elissa put Kaitlyn, Aaryn and GinaMarie on the block... and CBS has the sense to make it a double.

You can't have these racists getting to jury. If one of the victims of racism gets to the final two, then it's going to be horrid.

Who wants to win because some racists voted for you?

She's had and still has some support in the house from others, and it's not like most have said much to her in the past. Now the host has made it clear to her there is a problem some of these will take the position against her (whereas in the past they may kept quiet), but not all have even now.

I am stunned CBS/BB has allowed this to continue.
If they make it out as pretty much one person who is the problem then they may think it doesn't reflect that badly on the cast. Indeed by giving others anti-racist statements in the DR it helps make it into an anti-racist message. It's a fabrication of the extent of what has happened, but that's what most will see.
