I will try this...

However may I also recommend lion cereal with vanilla yoghurt, and a handful of raisins thrown in for chewyness.

Perfect for when you want something a little more substantial than a muller crunch corner, but hope to stay (relatively) healthy.

As it involves a product that comes from a thoroughly evil company (Nestle) I shall avoid it at all costs!

I do not wish to contribute to a company that, among other things, indirectly kills babies in impoverished countries.

Another product from that evil, malignant, nefarious, nasty company ... so if anyone has any morals, they'll say no.

If you buy any products made by that company on a regular basis, then you have blood on your hands.

Looks likes every single shop and supermarket in the world is going to hell in a hand basket then.

Although that was a sarcastic comment, it does raise a potential way to deal with Nestle. While there has been an
international consumer boycott against that company since the 1970's, it isn't making any difference while it's only
concerned individuals that are boycotting Nestle products. If every major supermarket company, the likes of Tesco
and Asda, shunned Nestle on a corporate level, and refused to stock any of that company's products, that would
hit that company hard, right where it hurts - in their profits ... and deservedly so.

OP - looks delicious. So gonna try that.

DJGM - ethical stands are wonderful things, but there is no universal ethical standard that we can all be held to. All you're doing is the least you can to promote a pet "issue", without actually inconveniencing yourself. On a scale of ethical responsibility you are, let's say, a sliver above the other people on this here who have no problem with Nestle. If you feel you've discharged your ethical responsibility by brining it to people's attention, then I trust you will sleep soundly tonight, but the truth is you've done the minimum possible because you aren't really prepared to do anything concrete.

Words are cheap.

Anyway, gonna hit the shops.

Sorry but you are just saying that to make yourself feel less guilty. Its the kind of rubbish people come out with that dont want to stop doing something they enjoy, in this case consuming products from Nestle. In their mind if they belittle someones effort, it makes them feel better. If you dont want to boycott Nestle, fair enough, but to belittle someone elses effort is quite sad.

How do you know they arent inconveniencing themselves? Without more facts, its a silly assumption to make.

To be fair to DJGM. there is only so much they can do. Boycotting their products, and making others aware of the problem with Nestle - is probably the most they can do. Not sure what else you are expecting them to do. You may not agree with his issue, which is fair enough.

It's clearly not working if 40 years of boycotting is still leaving them as the biggest food brand on the planet. Tesco won't be boycotting them as long as there is demand for their products. I expect the Co-op sell a shedload of their products, despite them claiming to have an ethical stance.

Gerald Ratner by comparison was boycotted and went bust very quickly afterwards.

Those that demand Nestle's products, but have no idea of the company's nefarious unethical behaviour need to be
made fully aware of the situation. A thorough expose of Nestle on an in-depth current affairs reporting programme
such as the BBC's Panorama, or Dispatches on Channel 4, would make people more inclined to shun products
made by the company in favour of alternative products from companies with far better ethical standards, or have
any ethical standards at all, since Nestle has absolutely none whatsover.

I agree on one point - despite The Co-Operative Group claiming to be highly ethical on various issues, they still
stock Nestle products in their stores, which flies right in the face of their stance against all things unethical!

So, yes ... I am doing all I can right now to make people aware of Nestle's evil, not just by posting anti-Nestle
comments on a public internet forum like this, but also by word of mouth ... what else would you suggest?
