@Declan_Khan Surely the tap on the nose and toys taken away is enough of a punishment? I could never tie my cat up just seems cruel to me.

One cat thinks he's Caesar expects to be fed on demand, hes a bit rotund (its his build). Hes the more laid back of the two, the female with shes def Queen Bee....you even move the wrong way and she has a stare that could burn. She rules the roost without question but we get it all back with love. She doesn't have time for other people either bit of a fussy bugger is she, only likes me and the other half. As far as she's concerned everyone else can get stuffed!

Zippy thinks he is Top Bird in this flat , He will yell if I dare turn the tv channel over if he is watching something ( he really got into the tennis when it was on ) He will try and eat from my plate , he will demand scritchs when ever he wants them by sitting on my shoulder and biting my ear

I dont know why this person is getting so much stick for this. You need to realise that cats and dogs are, well dogs at least, pack animals. If you dont show them who is boss, they will walk all over you. They arent human beings.

Neither cats nor dogs are pack animals. Cats have never been considered pack animals (the only feline that lives in a group afaik is the lion) and pack theory for dogs has been disproved numerous times. Neither species responds well to a dominance based relationship.

Why have a pet at all. Why not buy one of those toy cats and be done with.
Thank you to those saying how beautiful my lovely girl Lola is, you clearly are all right. Love her and her brother (not litter mates) Dave to bits. I got very lucky with the pair of them and couldn't ask for two more gorgeous cats. Had them a year this weekend

My cat sasha god bless his soul was the king (or queen as I call him as I joked he was a gay cat he was so camp) of the house. He wanted food if it be 2pm or 2am he would meow until he got it, he would get fuss when he wanted it, he'd jump and sit on me until he got fuss, he was let out whenever he requested, let back in when he wanted, slept where he want, got whatever food he wanted which was tough guessing what he wanted. Ah I do miss him, as demanding as he was he was quite easy going and was affectionate, if I was sad he did detect it and would give me attention.
Charlie my dog he's 18 months now and he knows his place, he knows we are in charge however he does sometimes become abit cheeky and gets above his station but he soon knows he's gone to far and behaves again. He is a very good boy mostly and does follow orders

My girl is a princess, she has a wee collar stating it :P - she had not a great life before we got her so she is pretty spoiled but much better behaved than she was when she arrived
