How did she manage to get the time off to film the series? Surely the hospital where she has been training at wouldn't want an F2 (which I guess she is) to have 6 weeks off at a time, nor do I think that she would have that much holiday anyway?

Doctors can take breaks during their training and then resume - for example when they fall pregnant. All it does is extend their training period. Chances are Leah didn't take up her next (and final) rotation last August in order to film and went back on rotation in Feb of this year. She probably won't then be finished training til Feb of next year, rather than August.

Cos she's a superwoman, that's why. She is a model, doctor, scientist and has voluminous hair! If she isn't Prime Minister before the end of the decade I, for one, will be shocked.

Filming started end-Sept last year for approx 6 weeks. She may also have used some of her annual leave entitlement for this.

Wouldn't this just mean that her training is extended by max 6 weeks until mid Sept this year?

So it's only me who got the impression that she wasn't giving up being an NHS doctor just yet?

The way she was talking about. Her plan didn't seem to indicat e that she would be present during all of the opening hours of the clinic.... She was talking about employing a nurse practitioner, and starting off with just one clinic and doing the cleaning herself if need be in the short term......

This sort of treatment just needs a trained person with some sort of medical experience to administer the injections - and I'm sure there are plenty of doctors who would like some part time work.....

I think it (might be!) only you! I got the impression that being a "mere" NHS doctor was not good enough for Leah - with her excess of vanity and her voluminous blonde hair!

The flaw in her whole business plan is that I think that most people would consider being a Doctor as FAR more of a worthwhile thing to do than going into the - totally medically unnecessary - "fill, freeze and botox" vanity end of the market.

She seemed shocked that LordS (and others) kept asking her about her ethics - I don't think she has any!

Until recently wasn't the entire market for this sort of thing unregulated and if you can just get junior doctors/nurses in who will do it for the pay check which i would imagine will be commission based overall so they'll probably do anything so long as they pay even if she's trying to get them not to take on work that'll make things worse physically/psychologically

and to be honest all it needs is a few women turning up with wonky lips filled up way too full of filler in the paper and it'll be a nightmare for LS which i don't think he wants

True, but then she can't promise that she can supervise it full time to minimalise the risk. And if she continues as a working doctor, how can he pursue the issue he had with Luisa - that she would be spreading her time over her other businesses. Why run it with Luisa if it applies to both of them?
