Not to mention mention that they are the first bottom-two surviving act to win this competition.

considering there's only been one series of this I wouldn't call it a big achievement

Two acts in the overall top 2.... I will take that as a victory

All right, let's move on to the announcements then.

First of all, I can confirm that The X Factor: Mix It Up! will be returning for a third series. However, the UK, the USA and Australia need to finish their upcoming series of The X Factor before this game can return due to the lack of eligible acts. Nevertheless, this game will return! Expect it to hit DS sometime between Christmas and Easter.

YAY! Happy to see this coming back.

And if it's possible, I'd love to make a comeback, even though by Christmas time I'll be hosting Battle Of The Seasons Series 3.

You might be wondering what I'll be doing in the meantime. Well, I'm participating in a multitude of games as a mentor in the near future. That doesn't mean that I won't be hosting anything in the meantime though, not at all.

For instance, I will be hosting the final of The Chance Factor this Sunday, which should be good as well.

However, the real 'big thing' is the fact that The Mix Factor will be returning to DS for its fourth series very soon. More on that in the next post.

Both of which are going to be awesome, especially the return of The Mix Factor!

Yes, The Mix Factor is returning folks! The launch thread will be up on Sunday July 28th, which is just 15 days way. However, due to everyone seemingly going on holiday (including myself), the live shows won't start until the 18th of August.

Sadly, the winner's curse has struck once again and Jack has decided to leave the panel after his victory last series. I have PMed one person I'd like to see in his vacant seat, but if he doesn't want to do it I will give everyone else a chance with an application process.

That would be all regarding The Mix Factor. Of course that's not the only thing in the works, as I will also be hosting a second series of The Twist Factor around December!

That would be all for now.

Oooh, I'm excited to see The Twist Factor returning.

Amazing job with this game once more, I loved the twists and the standard of the song choices.

Yes unfortunately I am unavailable for Mix Factor this year which I was quite disappointed by if I wasn't moving into uni and all I would literally jump at the chance to do it and whoever does replace on the panel I just want to say best of luck to you and I am sure you'll have a blast as that show is amazing to be a part of

Also a quick thank you to EoS for being an amazing host again (although that isn't new )

That was it for all of the extras and reveals everyone. This has been a brilliant series to host in my opinion, we definitely improved on the previous series. The standard of the song choices was possibly among the best I've seen on this games. I'd like to thank Jack, Justin, Kevin and Zak for sharing this amazing experience with me, as well as everyone who viewed and voted over the course of the series. The judging panel was definitely one of the best things about this series, and the four people on are all beyond amazing as well. I'd also like to give a shout-out to our loyal viewers, who include but are not limited to Alex, Aliyah, Pingu and of course tonight's guest judge Steve. All in all, I'm a little sad that this has ended actually. But alas, all good things must come to an end.

Closing the series with their winner's song Didn't Mean It by Jasmine Villegas, it's your champions Black Ivory everyone!

This is your host singing out, see you in 2014 folks!

Or maybe I'm not signing off yet after all.

Here's the updated webpage section for this series, looking all neat.

I'll try to update the Hall Of Fame section as soon as possible, probably tomorrow though...

Congrats to Jack and Black Ivory! They're been consistently strong throughout the game, as is evident by the voting percentages. However, also well done to Justin and Ethan for second, as I thought he was also mentored very well, and either winner would have been well deserved.

Thanks for hosting EoS, and for doing all the percentages and stuff, I know how time consuming it can be!

No problem, I actually like doing these things. And to be fair, somebody had to fill the gap regarding high-quality games after you stopped hosting these more traditional forum games.

OH GOD. Look at me missing the final, how typical of me.

WELL DONE to Jack and Black Ivory, who I fully expected to win after they beat Nicola! & well done with second place, Justin!

It's lovely to see Danielle/Nicola topping a few shows as well. I thoroughly enjoyed being on the show - thank you for the excellent hosting EOS.
