Is your cat left or right pawed?
Just a bit of fun...
I had a thought this morning as I lay in bed with my cat swiping my face at regular intervals to tell me it was time to get up and feed her. I noticed that she used her left paw each time, and got to wondering if like left and right handed humans, there are left and right pawed cats. So have you noticed which, if any, paw your cat prefers?

I tried this the other day, and my cat is also left pawed.

Well, she used her right paw this morning, so I think that knocks my theory on the head!

My cat only has one front leg so doesn't really get to choose.

Right pawed. Definitely. She uses it to eat and pick things up - especially keys or my watch.
They HAVE to be on the floor as far as she is concerned. |

I've been observing Brooke since this thread started - when she has a completely unfettered choice she seems to favour her right paw. But its not like she won't use her left if its convenient.
