Neither Nate, I don't know if hot sauce was added into the chilli. I know spices were.

My wife usually uses four or five chillies for chilli

Evening! Well, THAT was a hot one! Mercifully cool now here, having a quick nip onto the net while daughter is trying on all the many outfits she found in the charity shops of Canterbury! Chip off the old block

My Pops had some Death hot sauce which came with a toothpick to try it with... that was quite hot!

I once had a home made curry that was the hottest thing I ever tasted, impossible to eat it sadly. Then there was the veggie chilli my neighbour made with six scotch bonnets in that was too hot for him to eat [but I managed it ] - the donut didn't realise SB's were way hotter than normal chillies!
