If you are OK with nuts, I can do one with no flour or fat and just ground almonds, eggs and sugar. Not quite the same as a normal flour sponge but still cakey! Tastes almondy of course

Best to give in to it....go lie down in darkened room and try to nap, having downed a pint of water first. That's what I used to do when regular migraines were a problem...thankfully I seem to have outgrown them I'm assuming you've had paracetemol already! You'll wake after not too long needing the bathroom after a drink that size so it won't skew your sleeping pattern

Our cats are divided on dry food.. one loves it but the other two would break down the spare bedroom door to get at the wet food!
