The credit card is almost maxed having just booked concert and train tickets for Kasabian, Athlete, The Doves and Mercury Rev in Glasgow as well as Biffy Clyro in Aberdeen.

Hopefully I will manage to go to T in the Park as well, don't really fancy Glastonbury.

What gigs are you going to this year?

22-20's tomorrow night in Edinburgh.

NME Tour on Thursday night in Glasgow (The Killers, Futureheads, Kaiser Chiefs, Bloc Party)

Razorlight in Glasgow in February.

Mars Volta in Glasgow in March.

Possibly YourCodeNameIs:Milo in Glasgow next week. Can't decide if I can be bothered trekking through to Glasgow .... yet again!

Won't be doing T-in-the-park this year. I've been every year since the second one. They've gradually bumped the capacity up and up without expanding the site in any sort of useful way and last year was crap. It was just too busy. I don't expect a 5 metre clearance zone around me but it would be nice to able to take two steps without falling over some pikey clinging resolutely to the remains of his bottle of Buckie ....

It was better when it in Strathclyde Country Park if you ask me.

I know what you mean by that, I live in Aberdeen and very few bands come this far north meaning that if I can't get someone who drives to go I have to get the train to Glasgow, meet my mate from Edinburgh (I have to buy him the concert ticket as I will crash at his), go to the gig, get the last train to Edinburgh and then get up at the crack of dawn to get back to Aberdeen.

Ouch!

I'm only in Dunfermline, but I loathe the drive to Glasgow. Half the time when you get the train you have to leave before the end to catch the last one and bollox to getting the bus!

I've only just moved up from Edinburgh and even when I was in Edinburgh I still had to traipse through to Glasgow to see most things.

Which is a bit of a joke when Edinburgh has The Queens Hall and the Corn Exchange for medium size gigs. They don't seem to get nearly as much use as they should ....

Why are you going to see the same person 3 times, surely he will only perform the same songs at each concert.
