Saw em on the NME tour on Tuesday in Liverpool, so i reckon they deserve a gig of their own - i wish The Killers were doing more than Brixton, they were awesome

Well, I wasn't going to go but have just bought tickets for U2 at Hampden.

Am now looking forward to the Sunday of the IOW Festival with REM headlining. Anyone heard any other rumours as to who else may be playing (I did hear a "friend of a friend" murmur that the Rolling Stones have been approached for the Friday or Saturday, but am taking it with a large pinch of salt at the moment).

Barrowlands is superb for gigs.

Best venue I have been to by a long shot.
