I find I'm drinking more than I usually should in this hot weather - is this wrong?
I had one can of K cider today (with food) and am having another one shortly because its so hot and I'm thirsty I know its probably better to drink water, but does anyone else find themselves doing this?

2 cans of cider is nothing to worry about, I would drink a lot more than that on warm days during the holiday period and weekends with 5-6 cans of beer or 10-14 cans at the weekends being the norm though sometimes I give the beer a miss and hit the cocktails instead.

Do you think its OK to have 2 cans a day? It doesnt sound too bad but I never used to do that for porlonged periods so I'm not sure Maybe I should stop for a bit (I've done this before, a la Ed Byrne, just to prove I can do it)

Drink ten cans then come back and tell us how you feel.

My strategy is to drink a pint of shandy then a pint of lager. Repeat until the vodka and Red Bull beckons.

The most I've ever had in one sitting was about 5 pints (I was about 17-18 and didnt know how to drink then) More recently I had 4 pints spread out over longer but 2 of them were about 8%
I didnt feel very good afterwards on both occasions

Lightweight....I can have 9-10 pints on a night out (first I down a bottle of cheap tesco wine)

Can't beat a nice cold cider on a hot summers day. I can't drink to many though in direct sun as I get a headache so I try to alternate it with soft drinks

Two cans is nothing. If it was this warm all the time and I didn't have to go to work I think I'd develop a drink problem. We don't normally go to the pub on a Sunday afternoon (except for the occasional footy match) but in this hot weather we'll just go and sit in the beer garden and drink all afternoon.

I love a beer but I only drink non alcoholic lager in the really hot weather. I get too dehydrated otherwise.

I haven't drunk cider since I was a student well over 20 years ago . Vile stuff.

Were you sitting by a war memorial shouting at the traffic at the time?

! F*cking hell! That's insane.
2 cans a day is my limit TBH these days, though before I could go days without alcohol and would only drink at the weekend or something. I doubt I have a problem but still

Me and a friend bought a 4 pack of special brew for a laugh recently just to see if its as bad as reputed, and we were surprised that it was actually quite drinkable.

A google search reveals it was brewed by the Danes as a gift to Winston Churchill, and to commemorate his 1950 visit to Copenhagen.

It's always interesting to challenge perceptions and revisit what one thinks they know about the world from time to time I find.
