Thanks for your replies guys, Huge thanks to Maisey (and co behind the scenes).

Hopefully this will be a positive outcome, I feel so helpless, such a sweet thing (honestly isn't any trouble at all).

A rescue contact via Facebook has got the little one. He's had 1.5ml of cimicat. It's very touch and go too. He is realy tiny.

The lady who took the kitten from us is a life saver (quite literally). Because even if the worst happens, she'll be making him so much more comfortable than we ever could. Having said that, you don't realize what progress he's already made, from not eating a solid thing to eating (well, feeding) every 30 minutes, amazing.

Glad to hear he's making progress - fingers crossed for him.

Hope you'll get your gran to do something about the ferals - do the local cats protection have a feral neutering program?

Thanks for providing me with that link, just looked, yes we do have a branch near us.

I guess I contact them (on behalf of my gran) and they will come and take them to be neutered? (I am such a novice at all this-despite having 4 cats and a dog!)

I really hope the little fella survives. I'm almost afraid to open this thread, fearing the worst. I cope better with human suffering.

I think they trap them, neuter then release. Some of the younger ones may be suitable for adoption I would think, but the older ones they'll probably view as too wild for that. They do try to rehome some ferals to farms / homes with outhouses so they can be fed and an eye kept on them though. Anyway I'm sure CP can fill you in - hope they can be helped anyway.

The little one has started too open his eyes.
Regarding the mum and possible other kitens neutering. Some branches offer full price neutering otherwise you will get £26 towards the cost of speying. Cats protection will only neuter/ Spey if there is someone willing too feed feral cats. They should loan a trap out too you or your grandma and possibly take them in too be speyed or they might want you too take them too the vets. With ferals I always fle treat them and worm them whilst under anesthic too.

Can I have the link to your group? You can PM it if you don't want it public.

Would love to see what 33 cats looks like!
