It's been six long weeks, with lots of waiting for certain people to send in their song choices, but we're finally here. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the grand final of The Chance Factor!

During last week's semifinal, which was hosted by Soppyfan, we said goodbye to Union J after an exciting show. With that, their mentor Eliza became the first mentor to have no act remaining, putting her out of the competition.

Today, I will sit in the hosting seat once more. The three finalists have each prepared four songs. However, only two of them will actually sing all four. After the finalists have sung twice each, the lines will open for a short time and you will be able to vote. Shortly after they close, I will reveal the name of the act that failed to get enough votes to advance to the final two. We've got some very interesting themes tonight for you lot, including a duet with a celebrity, the mentors' favourite performances from their acts and of course the winner's singles. Speaking of which, there's still a long way to go before we'll hear those. First things first, let's introduce you to the judges and of course the three finalists of The Chance Factor:

bboy1988 & the last of the Boys
James Michael

jackamakka & the last of the Girls
Lucy Spraggan

pingu58011 & the last of the Overs
Brenda Edwards

puppylove7 who has no Groups remaining

At long last, it's time to witness the conclusion of what has been a really fun series. Could the judges be so kind as to confirm their presence here for the last time?

All right, let's kick off this final with the first performance then. Round one features the body parts theme, where every act has to sing a song related to the human body in some way. Singing a cover version of Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison, it's James Michael ladies and gentlemen!

James Michael
*standing ovation*
James, this was just perfection for you. Your voice melted seamlessly through my eyes and into your performance. Brown Eyed Girl is such a fun song but also one of great meaning and you conveyed that perfectly throughout this performance. Stephen’s done some exceptional work with you over the course of the series and I really hope you get into the Final Two, great work!

James
*Standing Ovation*

James what a way to open the final of the show. You have been a favourite of mine from show one, and it was shown why in this performance. It was just vocally stunning. In fact, even though I have loved other performances, that is my favourite performance from you. I just can`t wait for your duet!!!

James

*Standing Ovation*

James firstly that is one of my all time favourite so gd by Van Morrison and tonight if he was sitting watching the performance I think he would have joined me on my feet to applaud you. You kept to the melodical composition of the song but slightly tweaked it and I thought it made the song sound new and fresh and definitely a song you would sing and something that I could see on your winners album. James your consistency has been amazing throughout this competition and I hope that the public continue to vote for you tonight.

And we open the proceedings with a triple standing ovation for James or so it seems. Well done to him and his mentor Stephen for that. However, I'm fairly sure that we'll see many more standing ovations tonight.

The second finalist is the one and only Brenda Edwards from Pingu's category. She'll be singing One I Gave My Heart To by Aaliyah for us tonight, enjoy!

Brenda
*Standing Ovation*

Brenda everyone just gave their heart to you tonight. The whole crowd just went crazy for you Brenda, and that is all because of your beautiful and powerful vocals. This was sort of like your `In love with another man` performance, which a lot of people loved, and a lot more people love you now. That was a magnificent performance Brenda, and you have just done me, your family and you proud. I can`t wait for your duet which will just be #NoWordsToDescribe.

Brenda Edwards
Brenda, everything you’ve done up until now has been perfect. However, I wasn’t too sold on this performance if I’m honest. I’m just not sure if it was quite *you*. But I really don’t think this will do you too much damage as you’ve been fantastic throughout the competition and I honestly believe you will go onto the Final Two with James tonight, so hopefully your Duet proves that.

Brenda

Brenda I have been waiting in the competition to see if your mentor would go this route with you and choose Aalyiah. I think the song in my opinion isn't a strong song for the final of a competition. Lyrically it's emotive and you had the emotion but I sadly wasnt a huge fan of the performance and think you have given better performances. Im hoping your duet will make up for this though.

Not a very good set of comments for Brenda there compared to what James got, will this damage her chances of winning tonight?

Up next, it's our third finalist Lucy Spraggan singing a cover version of Heart Attack by Trey Songz!

Lucy
*Standing Ovation*

Lucy that is one of your better performances. Parts of the song didn`t sound like you, but overall it was a good performance, and I can see your mentor put their heart into the song. The vocals were good, and you did step it up for the final which is good. I am really looking forward to your duet to see what you can do!!!

Lucy Spraggan
*standing ovation*
There you go Pingu and Stephen, she’s away from her guitar tonight just for you! Lucy, this proves just how good your raw voice is even if it’s not the best voice in the world. You have such a special quality to your voice which just gives any song you sing that personal touch. But I do notice that you sound a little uncomfortable away from your guitar, so maybe it’s a good thing it’s only a temporary measure. Good job!

Lucy

Lucy, I have to be honest and say that this was an improvement on what you have done recently over the past few weeks. I was still waiting on the Spraggan effect which I wasnt feeling but definitely a lot better. I am wondering is it too late for improvement or will the public give you the votes, I guess we will ave to wait and see.

Two standing ovations for Lucy there, putting her in second place going by the comments tonight. However, will the voting reflect that or do the public have other ideas?

It's time for the celebrity duets everyone. Each judge has chosen a celebrity duet partner, who will sing one of their own songs together with one of the finalists. Up first, it's James Michael singing Broken Strings by James Morrison ft. Nelly Furtato (with Nelly Furtado)

James and Nelly
*Standing Ovation*

Firstly I will start by saying thank you to Nelly for coming in to work with the wonderful James. That was a beautiful duet, and you had a lot of chemistry between you which made the duet even better. Your voices blended so nice together, and it was just a beautiful duet. Amazing James, and whatever happens I wish you good luck. You have been an amazing contestant!!!

James and Nelly

*Standing Ovation*

I am officially blown away now James, you made that song sound like it was written for you rather than James Morrison. That was just stunning on your own, but then Nelly interjected with her sections and I was like hell yea this is amazing. James in my opinion and I hope the judges will agree every single performance of yours has been amazing and consistent and I really hope the public will vote you into the final two tonight.

Jacka is taking a tad too long to comment for my tastes, so I'm going to go ahead and move on. Anyway, good comments for James once again, could he be the one who's going to be crowned the winner tonight?

Time for the second celebrity duet. Singing Real Love together with the fantastic Mary J Blige, it's Brenda Edwards everyone!

Spoiler
Brenda: We are lovers true and through and though
we made it through the storm
I realy want you to realize
I realy want to put you on
I've been searching for someone to
satisfy my every need
won't you be my inspiration,
be the real love that I need

Brenda: Real love. I'm searching for a real love
Someone to set my heart free
Real love. I'm searching for a real love

Brenda: Oooh, when I met you I just knew that
you would take my heart and run
Until you told me how you felt for me
you said I'm not the one
So I slowly came to see
all of the things that you were made of
and now I hope my dreams and inspirations
lead me to want some real love

Brenda introduces Mary J Blige

Mary: (Chorus) 1x

Mary: Loves so true and oh baby
I thought that love was you
I thought you were the answer to
the question in my mind
but it seems that I was wrong
if I stay strong maybe I'll find my real love

Brenda: So I try my best and pray to God
he'll send me someone real
to caress me and to guide me twards
a love my heart can feel
Now I know I can be faithful
I can be your all in all
I'll give you good luvin' though the summertime,
winter, spring, and fall

Both: (Chorus) 2x's

Mary: You see I'm searching for a real love
and I don't know where to go
Brenda: Been around the world and high and low
and still I'll never know
how it feels to have a real love
'cause it seems it's not around
Both: gotta end it in this way because it
seems he can't be found

Both: (Chorus) 2x's

Brenda and Mary
*Standing Ovation*

Thank you so much for coming in and singing Mary. I appreciate it so much, and I am sure you have seen how amazing Brenda is while singing with her, and working with her. It was just a beautiful and your voices blended like a smoothie. It was sensational and I couldn`t think of anyone better to duet with you Brenda. It was perfect, and I hope your fans get you to the final 2 because you truly deserve it. You have been amazing tonight and throughout the competition. I just hope the public see this and get you through!!!

*Standing Ovation*

Brenda that was better than that first performance tonight. I thought the song was much more suited to you and you were able to get yourself into it. You are a vocal powerhouse yourself but to add Mary into the mix was like a vocal showdown and I thought you held you own. All the best tonight.

Finally, some good comments and additional standing ovations for Brenda. Will she make it through to the final two or did she jinx it with her first performance?

The third and final celebrity duet will be brought to you by Jacka's last act Lucy Spraggan, singing Lightning Bolt together with Jake Bugg!

Thank you Jake for coming in with Miss Spraggan. That was amazing, and it was your performance of the series Lucy. It was just incredible how well you worked together, and that cover was amazing Jack so be proud. Whether you finish 3rd tonight or higher, I just want to let you know that I think you are incredible, and you have really redeemed yourself tonight. I think you have actually overcome James tonight!!!

Lucy your mentor has given you a fighting chance with this duet. I think he played it very well and chose someone that we all know would walk extremly well with you and thats what has happened. I think that may have thrown a spanner into the works tonight. all the best.
