Apologies for the short delay.

There's been an issue with one of the products that Harmonia have supplied us with. The £31.99 they provided as a price for their flight is only the cost of one flight. I've also been informed that because I said "return flight" instead of "return flights" that they think this is acceptable. Quite frankly this reasoning is just foolish.

We've decided that a suitable penalty is 1.5x the price of the correctly priced item. Therefore the flights now cost £89.97 bringing Harmonia's final total to £237.75.

As there were no other issues with the items, this task has been won by Helios, with a total of £192.99. You were lucky that Harmonia decided to take this absurd risk with the flights but congratulations!

YES!!!

Congratulations, Team Helios!!!!

Commiserations, Team Harmonia. I wouldn't want to be the person who got the flight.

Well, congrats team Helios! This is an uncomfortable situation...

hmm I know it's been decided and can't go back but I don't really think this is fair, it clearly said on the brief that it was flight and not flights so of course we'd go for one flight - if that was a mistake then it's not our fault. We also checked with Gav and Zak and they said it was fine, surely we should have been notified about this in advance. Here's the screenshot: http://i1261.photobucket.com/albums/...FlightDSA3.png - it even has 'return' ticked so surely that follows exactly what was put on the brief?

Anyway, well done Helios

It has come to my attention that one member of this team seems to think that when they're sending their evaluations that they're evaluating me and what they think I'm doing wrong.

George, throughout this process your negativity has shone through. Various complaints from your team members which I've tried to see past as you are a good candidate. But you continue your nit-picking at everything I have done and the way I have handled situations in this boardroom. You are not here to judge me.

Am I supposed to try to defend myself, or are you just telling me what you think without me interrupting?

As a person who is booking several holidays for myself next year, I can assure you that a return flight, plural or not, means there and back.

Harmonia, you do realize the term 'return' somewhat suggests what they were looking for right?

This. Not even just flights, but trains & buses etc. A return is two tickets.

Guys, I've just checked what Niall uploaded. The 'return' box is ticked, and it does have 'outbound journey' on there.

There's only one way I can think that this mix-up has happened, but I'll wait to see if LAS offers any clarification on that.

I was wondering how that flight was so cheap... I didnt notice it was only one way :/

Outbound means that was the price for the flight from London, you obviously didn't add in the price for the flight back as they vary from day to day.

Go on the website you got that from.

It has prices listed for both the outgoing and incoming flight. It's put like that, similarly to train tickets, to allow you to get the cheapest price.

Niall clearly only selected the first one - the outgoing holiday.
