Decided to create a thread for Iggy Azalea, there does seem to be a few others following her on DS

The year has gotten off to a good start for Iggy with two top 20 hits (Work #17 and Bounce #13) plus there is now talk of her new song called Change Your Life featuring T.I.

Also, I believe she's said that her debut album The New Classic will be released in September, what do you expect from it?

Also a big fan of her earlier work such as Pu$$y, My World and Murda Bizness

From what I can gather, not all the paperwork for the contract was signed and approved, T.I. claimed she was still a "free agent". Though, she was on the look-out for a large record label such as Interscope, Mercury or Def Jam to sign to as they would give her the best promo to kick start her career.

Iggy is also nominated for the VMA for Best New Artist, make sure to vote!

PU$$Y was (is still) such a tune!

She has such a talent for making brilliant rap/ hip-hop songs which are accessible yet credible at the same time. I was worried when I heard she signed to Mercury because I didn't want her to become too commercial and lose her edge (a la Nicki Minaj). Work relieved me somewhat but I wasn't too sure about Bounce but it has grown on me.

I think she should focus of songs like Pu$$y and Beat Down because those are her best. If the album has a mix of witty lyrics (Like Pu$$y) and hot beats (like beat down) it will be amazing. I've heard a new song live called Cheeks which I'm sure will be a hit if released.

I also love how she isn't doing an Azealia Banks and is actually releasing music and not leaving us in the latch.

Loved her from the start.

What a driven, ambitious, strong woman - yet still likeable.

She knows what she wants and she's damn well going to get it.

Forgot to say, really happy Change Your Life went top 10! It really shows she has a presence in this country now
