Just watching 'Let's Do Lunch With Gino and Mel' and they have Rufus on as a guest. I know he's been without it for a while now (shaved it off due to a role in a play) , but was just thinking how strikingly different he looks without the guinea pig that was adorning his face. He's lost years, possibly a couple of decades, by getting rid of the face fuzz and I was surprised to discover quite a decent looking bloke underneath!

Hope he's in no hurry to grow it back as he looks so much better. I'm not completely anti 'tache or beard but in his case the change is for the better (IMHO).

I was wondering- who else in the public eye has altered their appearance dramatically (without resorting to cosmetic surgery) and looked better for it?

I love Gloria, shame Modern Family is on Sky One (one means the viewing figures).

Hahaha...I'd forgotten all about that!

Maybe, since losing the fuzz, he's now a reformed character and has seen the error of his ways!

I only remember him from when he ruined the Glastonbury coverage a few years ago.

The man is a total and utter tit and I am delighted to be held in such total disdain by him. He is as funny and entertaining as a prolapsed anus.

Hang on that's a bit unfair to a prolapsed anus.

Don't hold back there, Pru!

I know people are usually exaggerating when they say it but I did literally spit my cup of tea out on reading that!

Last time I seen him he was on Famous and Fearless driving go-carts and falling with skates on in a shed full of weans going ruff-ruff-ruff in the style of a dog barking with superstars like Little Mo, Kerry Katonas stand in and Richard Bransons son. Has his career got any shitter?

However I find him a good stand-up and funny on panel shows. Hopefully he will play to his strengths.
