Hello - this poll will be filled with 5 brand new albums that haven't featured in previous polls, so which one will be successful 1st time round? These are all albums by artists who I feel are underrated and I have never got round to listening to these particular albums, so please vote wisely

Well you loved Madonnas - Ray of Light....Lykke Li has a similar style a very Baroque Pop meets Electronica/Synth....and that album is her best one iIMO..for a debut....speaking of which i need a re-listen to it .

but yeah Lykki Li - Youth Novels

for the next set of reviews how about something from a completely different genre to current pop... just to expand your experiences
e.g. joni mitchell - blue; fleetwood mac - rumours; pink floyd - dark side of the moon; kate bush - aerial;
portishead - dummy; radiohead - kid a

Thanks for your suggestions - the only one I don't have out of that list is Kate Bush's so I will try to include that in a future poll

JP on this one we will ahve to disagree i see and feel no similarites between M and Lykke. Lykke is a more alternative say Ellie with links to toher similar artist like Grimes and Robyn. But agreed Lykke is very much worth checking out

I chose Gossip can't beat a bit of post-punk pop rock with a powerhouse vocalis

I don't know any of those, but I nearly bought Standing In The Way Of Control last year so I'm gonna vote for that one.

Nerina Pallot's 'Fires' is a brilliant album. Whether or not you review it, I'd definitely recommend it for a listen. Beautiful.
