K700i Charging problem
Quick question from a newbie guys.
I've had the K700i for about 4 months and it's developed a problem while charging. I get the message on the screen saying optimized charging, but then the screen starts flashing and it makes a horrible 'pinging' noise and freezes. Doesn't seen to charge after that and I have to remove the battery to get out of it. It does it on both the mains charger and in-car. Anyone else had a similar problem or can shed a little light on the subject? Stu |

i had this problem all i did was take out the battery and put it back in, that all i could do to fix the problem, but it would probably happen later on. i seemed to have the problem mostly with 1 particular charge, so try using a different SE charger, might help.

I have noticed this with my Z600, my K700i, I think it is to do with the plug they use. One thing that can help is to clen the teminals on the botttom of the phone, and lay the phone flat, with and the cable layed in such away it does not pull on the plug cuasing a lose connection. Why they could not have gone for a simple plug like they had on the old nokias I will never know.

The best thing to do, if it's a practical solution, is to charge it while it's off.

I haven't encountered this problem - however, mine was from eBay, and I usually charge it through the night.
