That diary room room scene with Callum last night was so fake.

For that reason i think he should leave”

He is not putting on an act he just wanted to talk to someone who is not a hm. The DR always asks when someone is coming in "how are you" so he probably wanted to make sure that someone is listening before he started talking.

Every year we get "Does so and so suffer from Asbergers". Callum has few social skills and does not seem able to see how he is coming across to others. I feel sorry for him and hope he does not suffer from his time in the house.

His behavour in the Diary Room ''ask me how I am?'' was very strange and he has a tendency to repeat sentences over and over again.

Does anyone think Callum has got mental health issues?”

hard to say and im not qualified really to voice an opinion.

based on what i have seen of Callum...i think he is not very secure about some aspects of his life-relationships etc.

he seems to be very proud and rightly so -of his lifeguard experiences. He holds it forth and i suspect he uses it to validate who he is.

if i were to pigeon hole him...i would say he is probably eccentric.
His need to act out his words (as though everyone had a hearing disability is interesting.) He is very exaggerated.

Big Brother apparently do screen potential housemates for some kinds of issues but it seems to me that they have been called up on this before- Shahbaz from nikki's season that threw the food into the rubbish bin was obviously not well.

I would hope not...... BB and Endemol have a duty of care not to include HMs with mental health issued, after one of them had a breakdown in the early series........I understood that they went through a mental and psychological evaluation before they could go any further......

For crying out loud, he was pissed. Everyone acts like an arse when they've had a few. If a HM so much as blinks once too often, you can guarantee someone on here'll be calling for them to be sectioned.

the only way to find out is for BB to set him a task, stick him in solitary confinement, play audio of the other housemates bitching about him, see how he reacts

No he's just a nasty piece of work, he's fooling so many viewers at the moment....Maybe their hatred towards Jacky is clouding their view of the real nastiness behind his stare, while repeating something they have said (that he doesn't agree with) over and over again.

I really feel for Callum. He has no support in there apart from Sam. Jackie is vile.

No, they can't all act like they are on Towie.

I liked him for the way he showed Sam what 'plummeting'?? was in sign language. While Jackie would not explain because she seems to think Sam's deafness robbed him of the right to know and join in. She is ignorant.

It's 4-5 weeks in so you have to ask yourself why he has no support.........Dexter and Gina have been in his shoes, but they took it on the chin, they're still top of the nomination list and still manage to talk to everyone in a respectable manner.

Dont feel sorry for him he made the mistake of being Mr Nice Guy when he went in and has changed his personality, now I'm sure they are waiting for the real Callum to show himself...and he will.

He has no support because he had the guts to nominate Dan and Dan turned bitter and twisted, just in time for Jackie to join the bitterness, hence Hazel joining the band wagon.

Not at all. Unless it's a split personality, very doubtful.

Robot Callum - Act 1
"Face for Radio" - Act 2
"Soar Charlie Soar" - Act 3
"Ask me how i am" - Act 4

Finale - The real Callum. The really likeable bloke his mum was expecting and the guy with great hm potential we saw interviewed by Aj the other night.

Dan was shocked thats all, and this was when Callum was playing Mr Nice Guy....... Dan didn't ask him to explain but Callum insisted, he's a creep and they all know it.......Jacky is a lot of things but she has her own mind, she doesn't need anyone to tell her what to think.

There is little difference between them as far as the majority of psychiatrists are concerned, both terms come under Anti Social Personality Disorder.

There are a few psychologists who disagree and say a sociopath and psychopath are different things, different theories and opinions on the topic as you would expect.

I am not throwing out random diagnoses at all I am simply stating my opinion, based on what I`ve seen so far, if anyone is dishing out diagnoses then it is the OP who appears to be suggesting that Callum is mentally unbalanced. yet the OP has got less stick for making a thread about it and the constant threads I`ve seen on this forum calling him weird, creepy, picking on the shape of his head also and his looks, yet where were the so called Callum supporters defending him then? but because I express an opinion about the "POSIBILITY" he could I said "could" be a sociopath or have a few traits I get shot down straight away.

There is a lot of hypocrisy on this forum at times and there is also a lot of bias against certain FM`s but do I care? NOPE I couldn`t give a toss, everyone is allowed to express an opinion as long as they are not trolling or inciting hatred or using hate speech.

For your information and BelindaJ, I actually like Callum now even though I cannot fully work him out, I have expressed many times this week in many threads that Callum has been growing on me as an housemate and have expressed my dislike at the amount of Callum hate on the forum

Like I say anything is possible, I didn`t say he was definitely a sociopath and I did not diagnose anyone either

But with regards to psychopathy being considered psychosis as you pointed out, It isn`t Psychopaths are sane.

This man in the video has worked with Dr Hare the world leading expert on psychopathy.

He wouldn't be the first HM's to fool them......He's admitted he lied to get in there, imagine how much lying he had to do and how long he kept it up for.......How do we know he's not still lying?

He's not mental just desperate to win and wont care who he treads on to get there

He certainly has issues. Insecurity issues. Anxiety issues. But I think what the OP is implying is a little more serious than that. But the repetition in speech, the fidgeting, his tactility with others, his hysterical laughter in the DR after he got saved which I'm almost convinced was contrived, it's indicative of a lot of things none of which are good.

One thing we haven't touched on today was when Dexter's mum came to the house. Callum went to him to hug him the man he hates and made a big fuss and when Charlie went to rub Dexter's arm, Callum knocked her hand away.

See? Creepy.

How do you know anymore about Callum than I know about Callum? How can you be certain he is just a shy man BelindaJ you have zero evidence for this either other than its your opinion the same as mine was my opinion.

It`s called an "opinion" something which everyone has and not all people agree on.

You have no more proof in this instance that he is just a shy man than I have about considering sociopathic traits.

Besides to clarify, I never presented my opinion on this occasion as being "fact" and never said it was fact, when something is a "fact" however I will mention it and back it up when something isn`t a fact I express it as a personal "opinion" instead.

I genuinly feel sorry for the lad. He was absolutely lovely for weeks - until he was nominated for being too nice!! A ridiculous reason, but one that everyone jumped on! Now, when he's trying to be more vocal, assuming understandably enough, that this would make his housemates happy, he is being slaughtered for being 'aggressive'!! Absolutely crazy!! Whilst I am not saying he's winner material, I am saying that I can understand why his heads all over the place!!

Going by the psych evaluations my aunt had to undergo when she started having dementia, I don't hold out much hope of them picking ANYthing up!

Yep creepy

Like the argument last nights HL's people cant see past Jacky standing up, yet the HM's were laughing at her comment, Callum was passive aggressive the way he looked at Jacky and kept repeating what she said.......He's nasty.

BIB It wasn't 'plummeting', it was 'thrunging'. I would respect him more if he mimed 'soaring' every time he used the word.
