Much more original and personality driven than 'Here's To Never Growing Up'.

What a chorus.

Early reviews for the song have been good lets hope Epic spend some money and make a great video to go along with the song and hope they get some decent promo lined up excited for this song

I really like it.

Just listening to "Here's To Never Growing Up" for the first time as well just now, and I kind of prefer it to Rock and Roll.

Is the album out yet? I'm so embarrassingly far behind on Avril news, I'm still gutted she never officially joined the Kardashian family. Looking forward to hearing the album after these two singles.

Second. Lavigne's best days are behind her I think.

It's just same ol' Avril. If that song had been released 6 years ago, it would have been a hit, but now its chances are rather slim. The only compliment I can give her for this is that it's at least catchier than 'HTNGU' because the new song actually has a chorus, but it's written by Max Martin, so "catchy" was a given.

I like it a lot. It suits her. I don't see how she can change to a totally different kind of music and still be who she is. She has that bratty pop punk persona and I think her music should reflect that. I didn't care for all that acoustic music she did on the last album. This is more her.

True. But I think there are some artists that are very versatile, that can do a fun record and then serious records and songs in many different genres and it will work and people will accept it, but there are other artists like Pink and Avril who aren't as versatile and it will only really work if they stick to one style.

I quite liked it at first, but just as with "Here's To Never Growing Up" I got tired of it with a few more listens. It has been relegated to my sub-playlist already.

Still love "Smile" and "What The Hell" though, play them all the time.

She is so schizo at the moment! She showed progression between album one and two. Then she totally regressed with album 3, which apart from the ballads, was awful, awful stuff. 'Goodbye Lullaby' didn't sell well realatively speaking but it had some good songs on it (What The Hell and Smile excluded). She has now gone back to generic radio pop.

Come back Chantal Kreviazuk...all is forgiven!!! :-/

Wasn't this supposed to feature another female singer?
