Are any AV cables still made in countries other than Far Eastern countries?
Are any AV cables like HDMI or SCART cables etc still made in countries other than Far Eastern countries? I know obviously if so, I'd have to pay a lot more for it, but I was just interested to know, that's all.

You can get stuff made well in the Far East as well as stuff made poorly. The issue is about the quality of manufacturing, whether in the Far East, Europe or here in the UK.
FWIW, I doubt that it's worth it for many companies to manufacture finished interconnects outside of the Far East except those high-end esoteric brands making analogue interconnects. But as long as the quality control is top notch then that's not really a problem. Of course, how does one tell the good from the bad
