Any advice on a reliable seller for a new one please

Model number PA3534U-1BRS Li-ion Battery pack

I have an Acer Aspire and when mine needed a new battery I bought it off eBay. IIRC was about 20 and far cheaper than from places like PC World.

I agree, for a 3.5 year old machine just go for a cheapie from fleabay. I've never had any issues buying a 'compatible' one from there and they are a third of the price of an OEM battery.

Why start a new thread as well?

On Amazon -1BRS is listed as 4800mAh whereas -1BAS is listed as 5200mAh, otherwise the same. Does it fit?

As 5200mAh is better than 4800mAh I wouldn't worry if I were the OP!
