Crumbs!

Perhaps they took the complaints last night too seriously?

Or are assuming everyone will already be tuned to the News Channel?

This is astonishing error of judgement by the nation's channel!!

At least BBC1 won't have to face the inevitable ratings defeat against ITV over the "hospital steps coverage".

But it's a funny way to go about avoiding it, by not playing at all!

I'm watching online at the office - been waiting to go home for 20 minutes!

Come on now, get on with it...

Don't worry - it's being mentioned on EastEnders.

Its a boy with 2 arms and 2 legs. Also has eyes and a penis if that helps. Typical baby really. Get home

The article on the TV Ratings Roundups page has had the reference to Long Lost Family removed; however, a duplicate article, filed under Coronation Street/TV Ratings Roundups, still has it.

When I were a lad in 1979, the BBC didn't show Maggie Thatcher entering 10 Downing Street live, they ran Play School instead.
Some haven't forgiven them.

Nonsense, some viewers have been waiting for these One Show repeats for years.

Perhaps the BBC did not want to be in the position if delaying EE?

If its a best of the one show, do we know if its under 5 minutes?

This is a future king, if you have a monarchy then traditions must be upheld. I would have liked BBC One to go live and if necessary push EE back a little.

Surely they could have just dropped The One Show?

Its good ITV have Alistair Stewart on today, talking a lot of sense as usual.
Best presenter on days like this.

I bet the Beeb get more complaints about NOT dropping the One Show than they got last night for dumping Pano and the 9pm doc!

This is crazy. But no point cutting in now - everyone's watching ITV if they are interested.

Assuming this goes on for a while yet, I think the ITV news special will still be on air when EE starts in 20 minutes time.

But it's going to take some time. BBC would've had to delay EE which probably would cause uproar

They probably wouldn't have had to. ITV only scheduling up until 7.30. It's going to clash with Emmerdale anyway at this rate.

I would be surprised if viewers wouldn't want to see this live, it is a national event.
