Top Gear really should not be airing in July.

Flagship show, it gets caught out by summer sport, great weather, late sunsets and summer holidays. I've got every episode on series link, not seen any yet!!

Thanks. That's a very solid result then, particularly against another (admittedly weak) drama. #1 drama of the week across all channels too, ahead of much more hyped titles such as Luther.

What rating is that for?

Robbie quoting the words "brilliant" and "ITV" in same sentence shocker!

Has George hacked into your account as a joke?

Family Guy did really well considering how late BBC air it (10 months behind) and no HD when it's been available ahem elsewhere.

Oh and its already out on dvd

Ah thank you. Wow, that's a very decent rating, higher than the eviction. 1.68m including +1.

Is the 1.5 with or without +1?

The demo's are fantastic for BBC3. 740k/21% amongst 16-34's, easily winning the slot.

Excluding. The +1 was 179k, which means BB got 1.68m incl +1 last night. 2nd highest HL rating of Ch5.

Okay, I thought that the figure in brackets was added on as 1.5 inc +1 would have been about right. Can't believe it did 1.7 nearly!

I think it's the guests. For the summer series a few years ago it was getting 6m+. Last night, for me, was the funniest episode in ages so I think it should be doing better.

1. Great to see The Returned doing well, it's stayed above 1 million for the whole run so far which in my opnion is great considering its a subtitled drama. I think Channel 4 will definitely pick up season 2

2. second highest rated h/l's show? Great for BB...however I switched off last night, the whole love triangle crap is being given far too much air time.

3. Not much to say but BBC would be mad to not keep Family Guy for as long as they can, fantastic ratings.

Superb. Considering the latest series is average 6m in the US, the ratings look even better

I wonder who'll get the crossover episode? I assume Sky as I think its a Simpsons episode.

Another super day for itv m/c offerings. Just rewards for itv4 the home of uk cycling - where else would you expect to seem the biggest day of the cycling year? Also another barnstorming performance by itv2 and its Star Wars season going ever better.

Channel 4 has acquired the rights to Showtimes next big series Masters of Sex....

This is quite a surprise! I had it pegged down for Sky Atlantic...
It will be paired with Homeland season 3 in the US, I wonder if Channel 4 will do the same?
Great acquisition for a series that is getting alot of early buzz

Nope, BBC will get it because its a Family Guy episode that features the Simpsons.
