Thanks for the ratings Score. Do you have the following consolidated ratings please (excluding +1)? :

- Love and Marriage: 19th June, 26th June, 10th July
- Law & Order: UK: 14th July

Those are the only drama ratings from BBC1/ITV1 that I'm missing at the moment. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Score.

Looks like a poor BBC One line-up benefited ITV somewhat. Assuming you've found the magical key , do you by any chance the F1 Qualifying ratings for BBC One and Sky Sports F1?

And also the Opening Ceremony repeat rating on BBC Three? Thanks.
I thought BBC1 and ITV were even and both had a decent night. One thing is certain Indiana Jones films and Mrs Brown's Boys repeat very well.

Finally Channel 4 had another movie premiere that people wanted to watch. Looks like it took down Top Of The Lake.

Love & Marriage
19th June - 4.17m
26th June - 3.80m
10th July - 3.55m

Law & Order UK - 5.71m (6.07m inc +1)

Love & Marriage lost viewers every single week for the whole run. No wonder it has already been axed. Good rating for Law & Order.

20:00 - EastEnders: 5.24m (28.8%)

19:00 - Emmerdale: 6.05m (37.3%), +1: 240k (1.3%)
37.3% share for Emmerdale?! That's HUGE. When was the last time it had a share like that? Brilliant result there.

EE continues to struggle in the summer months and that 5.2m rating and 29% share says it all really. When will it return to form and start challenging Corrie again?

Last series of Doc Martin in the overnights (2011) (exc/inc +1):

12/09: 8.43m (32.4%) / 8.73m (34.1%)
19/09: 8.81m (35.3%) / 9.08m (36.9%)
26/09: 8.55m (34.5%) / 8.78m (35.8%)
03/10: 8.52m (34.2%) / 8.78m (35.7%)
10/10: 8.54m (34.8%) / 8.80m (36.3%)
17/10: 8.86m (35.2%) / 9.14m (36.8%)
24/10: 8.67m (34.2%) / 8.97m (35.8%)
31/10: 8.69m (34.1%) / 8.95m (35.5%)
Thanks for these Hassaan13. Doc Martin is a very solid performer. Should do well again when it returns. Was the 2011 series its best rated ever?

It did indeed. Only 938,000 (4.8%) for Top of The Lake, less than half of what it launched with.

Poor time slot, being available online for 4 months etc....it was never going to rate well.

A fairly good night for ITV there with everything over 18%, bar The Americans, although that saw a nice little rise on last week.

Same ith YFSF, good rating for it, perhaps it can go full circe and rate at 4million next week as it did when it first started.

The Opening Ceremony did ok, but i though it would average around 1.4million or so.

Harry Potter doing well for ITV daytime/early evening in comparison to their usual low rating programme's. And YBF still rating well after all these years.
Remember ITV is supposed to be the home of entertainment-all of last nights schedule was beaten by a multiple repeated film, a shot in the dark lottery format, an ancient drama and a comedy on probably its third showing in a year. None of last nights offerings on any channel were much to write home about on a stormy night, certainly not ITV.

Any news on ITV picking up the second season? We're stacking them to watch over a few nights when we've got all 13.

Don't want to start, unless we can finish.

A good week and a good slot for Break The Safe to launch - although it doesn't leave too much room to fall. Generally decent night for everyone. The shares not much different but probably more than 2m additional TV viewers last night making the difference.

Don't these pick ups usually come in 2 season deals? So I wouldn't be surprised in ITV has the rights to season 2, but I'd say it'll get moved to ITV3 or 4

I've watched the whole season and cannot wait for season 2! Fantastic show!

Which makes me want to ask...

Channel 5, have they got the rights to OUAT season 3, Dallas Season 3? E4 Revenge season 3?

The Olympic Opening Ceremony was the best thing on TV tonight. Even though it still had Huw Edwards and Trevor Nelson at least it didn't have Jon Snow telling us how great war is for the Paralympics.
Although you say that on the day the British Paralympic Association teamed up with Help for Heroes to search for their next generation of stars.

Will BBC3 show the closing ceremony in a couple of weeks?

I believe so - each episode consolidated to 10m+.

I think the last time Emmerdale got a share that large was for the live episode.

Yes I think you're right actually. The live episode had a 40.0% share. For a normal episode though, 37% is excellent.

Some good ratings there i especially love the fact a MBB repeat again won the night. This shows that the weather has been effecting all ratings.
It also proves how popular this sitcom is, I'm glad it won the night. YFSF picked up a bit, but it certainly hasn't been the big success ITV hoped it would be.

If ITV wanted YFSF to be a success, they would have scheduled it properly, and given it a better lead-in than YBF.

It wasn't a normal episode it was the aftermath of Genni death so hardly a normal episode. Still that was a great share for it.

I still feel they would have hoped it would have performed better then it has.

I think it's summer filler as 3.4 million wouldn't be acceptable in winter. However, while it's not been a big success, it hasn't joined the likes of The Marriage Ref in ITV's flop club, and I think it could make another appearance next summer.

I think it'll fall further. It took too long to get going. Pity as now it has got going.

The fact that it faced the best weather for 7 years may have had something to do with it.

It has rated well considering. Many shows have rated less which much worse weather against it in the past.

You have to hand it to Mrs Browns Boys - a repeat topping the night again. I do believe that Saturday slot is a good one for comedy (obviously, outside of when the big talent shows are airing) and they should use it more. Unfortunately, from the latest Media Centre release, it looks like BBC One is going to be attempting to launch Big School and Father Figure together - at the end of August no less. Big School has a hell of a cast attached, but I can only see that ending one way...

Also wondering if anyone has anyone seen the ratings for the Athletics yesterday? BBC One, 1.30 - 5.15, I think.
