It does well for Channel 5. Obviously BB's glory days are well behind it, but the fact 1.5 million are still prepared to watch it is good for one of the last reality shows of its kind, if not the founder of the genre. I could only ever see Channel 5 ditching it if ratings fell below a million for an entire series.
I often wonder what would happen if TXF, which is overhyped by ITV and worshipped by the redtops, shed another 2 million viewers, but then miraculously gained 10,000 the following week. As you say, it would be like TXF is back for 34 pages.
