Cocky, arrogant, full of himself. I don't believe for a second what he said about becoming a new man when he leaves. It's all lies, he's not a very nice person.

What could possibly be the angle, then?

He knows he can't win Callum over in terms of nominations, and he's got no real status in the house as pretty much everyone other than Sam and to a degree Gina have cut him adrift.

So what benefit is it to Dexter in the "game" to try and agree to an uneasy truce with Callum?

Sometimes things are just as they appear.

Dexter was beinh a Knob on L/F last night ,but to be fair neither him nor Callum did anything particularly wrong ,Charlie stuck her oar in as she doesn't want Callum and Dexter to become friendly as her story line will be gone ,Just as she doesn't want Hazel and Gina to be friendly either for some reason and was pissed off when Hazel and Gina was having a laugh together on L/F last night

Charlie was in the wrong but the two boys aren't thinking with their brains so obviously it's not Charlie's fault.

Charlie wouldn't have a storyline if it wasn't for Dexter or Callum !

Dexter was innocent in that conversation. He wanted to clear the air.

Yes, he started it, he was looking for a fight with Callum.

Callum was not interested, but Dexter kept digging.

What he did wrong was, he's Dexter. He could save a baby bird who fell from a tree, and they'd all claim he was trying to kill it, or lure it away from it's mother ... or some other nonsense.

What pissed me off most is during the convo Callum was agreeing with Dexter, but as soon as Charlie butted in he did a complete U-Turn and implying it was all Dexter.

I don't see why you thought otherwise. He tries to sort conflicts out. Lovely guy.

I know- sometimes I wonder what Dexter has to do to do something right- it seems an impossibility for him. I watched most of it and yes it was boring but Callum seemed to be the offhand sarcastic one of the two.

No it was not Hazel. Hazel was having a laugh with Gina and the twins. Charlie was chatting to Dexter and already appeared annoyed that Hazel and Gina were getting on. Charlie then got hold of Dan and started moaning about people who dislike each other getting along. Then Dexter and Callum started chatting and she got into them. All Hazel did was tell Charlie some logical solution.
