Robin Thicke has scored his first No. 1 album in the United Kingdom with “Blurred Lines”.
Featuring the smash-hit single of the same name, “Blurred Lines” debuts at pole position on this week’s official UK album chart and in doing so knocks Jay-Z’s “Magna Carta Holy Grail” off the top spot.
The Official Charts Company reports that “Blurred Lines” is Thicke’s first chart topping album and his second top 40 entry on the UK album chart . Despite releasing five albums before “Blurred Lines”, Thicke’s previous highest position on the UK album chart was with 2006′s “The Evolution of Robin” which peaked at No. 30.

Now let the Justin Timberlake vs. Robin Thicke comparisons continue. I see these two going head to head by years end now that Robin has made his success over to the UK.

Why are we pitting Robin and Justin together at all both are equally talented in their own right. And secondly JT will win as he is established has a larger fanbase and has been on the top of the pile longer. Robin could still so easily go back to being a small time aritist 1 Big single a career it does not make Gotye anybody.

He's already been around for over a decade. 5 more years is nothing. The ignorance of this post is astounding.
