Toshiba USB movie files not supported
Hi,
I have a Toshiba 40BV702B tv and it says it supports movie files (MPEG/AVI). http://cdn.cnetcontent.com/d1/32/d13...ecbe019cea.pdf (Page 44) I've tried several but it says they are not supported. They play through a PS3 though. I wondered if there was a firmware update or some codec that needs to be installed but there isn't much info on the tv. It's from Tesco so may be a cheapo one made for them. The model isn't listed on the Toshiba firmware page. |

From experience, despite what it may say in the user manual, the only files it appears to support are MPEG-1 -easily converted but a bind all the same.
Someone I know has the same TV with the same problem. It also seems that it does not like USB drives greater than 8GB |
