I think she was obviously looking for laughs in that video. You could see that whenever the audience laughed, she had a look on her face as if to say, oh, I got a laugh with that comment. The laughs just basically encouraged her to make even more stupid comments. She thrives on getting either negative attention or laughs.

If you're being paid to be a professional troll, of course you'd be happy. Every bit of outrage is more cash in the bank.

And there are enough people who see outrageous/controversial people as being worth supporting to get a share of that money.

There are apparently quite a LOT of potentially life-threatening issues around gastric band surgery. I've been told it can really mess you up and I know of at least two people who have died after having it. One was due to subsequent complications and the other was that famous "fattest woman in Britain" who various tabloids trolled by saying she'd died due to overeating after the band was fitted. In fact she died with anorexia.

An old school friend of mine had it, lost TONS of weight and looked fabulous, though she had lots of loose skin issues apparently, and she couldn't eat normal food any more. She's definitely regained quite a bit of weight since.

It's not a magic solution.

Hopkins desfinitely thrives on the negative attention she gets. I do think that she's purposely controversial because she knows that TV broadcasters will want her on their show so that viewers will tune in so that they can be outraged about what they've just seen. You can sometimes see in her face that she's just doing it for laughs and shock reactions.

I completely disagree with that quote. Hopkins knows that she's purposely controversial and that's her way of getting out of it.

A GP told me, that for a couple of her patients, they were refused because they were two stone under the criteria. The patients needed to gain weight to be considered for a gastric band op on the NHS.

I can't bear the rancid old hag but for the love of God, don't people think the police have enough to do without running to them because of this sort of nonsense. Yes, she's an offensive old cow but she gets off on it and it would be better off not rising to her bait than wasting police time

I really don't see the point of her little documentary. It's not rocket science. You eat lots of crap food.. you're going to put on the wrong type of weight. You cut out all the crap food.. you're going to lose that weight. So she's proving nothing we don't already know.

What she seems to fail to understand or accept is quite often the decision to eat crap food is in a lot of respects a daily battle for some due to various factors.. sometimes emotional.. sometimes physical. But either way.. if it were as simple as flicking a switch.. no one would be overweight who doesn't want to be. But it really isn't that simple for a lot of people. The issues can be deep rooted.. to such an extent that the brain can be making unconscious decisions for you that sabotage your desires to make the best decisions.

So she is proving nothing. You can't fake an emotional issue that prompts over eating. Although one does wonder if she herself is hiding some sort of issue.

She probably knows that she is a revolting poisonous bitch and hasn't got one real friend in the whole world.

Those poor kids deserve better than that trollop.
