She's already failed at that, as well as being a failed businesswoman.

Apparently, from the horse's mouth (paraphrasing), 'my kids don't have mobiles or ipads so they're largely unaffected by the fallout'.

And her supporters actually think she's intelligent...

First of all, I'm Canadian so I've only seen small snippets of her on shows like ET and Access Hollywood and from British media outlets.

I believe that she's only saying aloud what a lot Britons are afraid to say for fear of being labeled a racist.

Those who feel offended by her statements need to get thicker skin and a back bone!

Like a rhinoceros?
Which is what KH reminds me of, narcissist demagogue that she is......a not very bright and angry brute charging at targets she can barely see.

PS .I dont think you understand Britons terribly well.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Allowing what she has said to go unchallenged is standing by. She used specific, recognisable images which we are not supposed to allow.

As for fear of being labeled a racist - it is racist and people should be made to feel ashamed of such views.

She's the perfect example of why you should never feed trolls.

This is the usual line spouted by people who support this idiotic troll. She is not saying what I, or anyone that I know is 'afraid to say'.

Her sole purpose in life is to get attention and a reaction, and in that, she succeeds.

& - for the record - making racist comments makes you a racist. Her comments about migrants weren't just beyond the pale, they were beyond humanity and she should be sacked from the Sun with immediate effect. It's not about freedom of speech - freedom of speech means that you can speak without being persecuted by the government - we are free to criticise the vitriol that spews out of her mouth and her comments were inciting racial hatred.

How anyone can support such comments is utterly beyond me and indicative of parties like UKIP gaining strongholds and building on people's ignorance and fear.

She is a hateful, hateful 'thing' - detestable.

I usually hate using this word, but this woman is vile. She is an attention seeking troll, and in no way should anyone grow thicker skin and allow her racist and ignorant opinions to just go by.

Do most Canadians think the way she does (and you I suppose)? If so - you've just put me right off Canada now - it was one place I had hoped to visit in the future - I suppose I could cross it off my list now.

Her epilepsy is a blessing in disguise, if she had continued her military career she would have revelled in spilling the blood of innocents whom she considers unhuman.

The law of averages says that every now and then Katie might say something someone agrees with, but that would not be her aim.

The Daily Mail online proves that writing controversial stories and being overly sensationalist gets you more clicks, ironically probably from people who are outraged and simply cannot ignore them until they go away.

If it makes a business money, they'll keep doing it.

Regardless of her latest rantings - I find it amazing that someone who was essentially a loser on The Apprentice (if anyone seriously believes that Sugar was honestly contemplating hiring her - then they need their heads examining) could achieve such 'fame' that she has.

Look at how much money White Dee has made, and nothing can surprise anyone anymore.

She is not coming out with any of this for the good of the country. She doesn't give a damn. What she cares about is attention, notoriety and her bank balance.
Personally, I can't be bothered getting 'offended' over what she says. I wouldn't afford her the honour when there are far more serious things than KH to be 'offended' about.
I just find it sad and rather depressing that she has such a nihilistic view of life and people and does nothing, for all her whining, to contribute to the well-being of the UK or the people in it. Absolutely diddly-squat.

I think the only thing she will succeed at, apart from marriage wrecking, is being convicted of hate speech.

AS offered her the chance and she turned it down.

I thought Canadians were better than that......She is saying what racist, selfish, Britons might think, because they are racist and unfortunately was she says making international news, I am offended on behalf of Britons who have the shame of this woman making these comments in the national press and getting so much attention. I am also offended by the idea that " a lot of Britons are afraid to say" what she does, because it offends me that people think like that, and think bigotry and calling people cockroaches isn't offensive. I hope we are a better country than that, but as The Sun is our biggest selling newspaper, I fear that too many see her as an icon for the right, rather than a national disgrace.

Hopkins declined to take a place in the final after Sugar pointed out the job would be based in London and if she wasn't going to relocate her family then she would essentially be wasting a place. She was never in the final two.

The Sun editor would have green lit those comments publication so I think she's not the only one with questions to answer. It's so disheartening.

Canada doesn't want the dregs of society to just turn up either - and unlike the UK,it is hard to get into, even for Americans - who are right next door.
As for "cockroaches" ,however unpleasant that might sound,it is NOT a racist comment - no matter how much people dislike Hopkins...
