I was referring to another thread, which had the details of the o2 complaint/watchdog issue.

I was told by O2 that my order for a Samsung D500 would be placed and I would be put in the queue to get it. I phoned up today to check everything and was told that the order had never been processed. I seriously hope I won't be put on the start of the waiting list again.

Could we refrain from personal insults on the forums and stay on topic please?

Thanks

I don't think people should go anywhere near O2 don't you get it they have got you with their 300 free text sim cards they will get loads new customers with these and so most people will hesitate to complain as they would lose this in my opinion i think the T-Mobile offer is much better when you buy a new phone and top it up a minimum of £5 then you get 2005 free texts for 90 days or the vodafone 12 free texts a day offer on their website.

ever heard of full stops or commas???

anyway back on topic. i personally think that o2 is a better network that most. i hear of ppl having some problems with o2, but no more than i hear of ppl having problems with any other network. the 300 txts is a very good idea, been going for years as well, and as for the offer with T-Mobile that will be a limited offer for new customers i would assume. Vodafone i fear will be the same, a limited offer. if not then GREAT!! but o2 have been doin this for years.

thats my opinion anyway

I moved to 02 because I was fed up with T Mobile messing me around with my bills. I'm with 02 now, the coverage is better (I'm in Scotland you see, too many hill shaped things in the way) and I've never had a problem with the billing. The only real complaint I've had is when I ported my number across from T mobile, and having two 02 numbers at the time, they switched the wrong phone off. I was 180 miles from home, but luckily had the spare with me. I also hate speaking to people who are not in this continent. I'm not being racist, but if someone from India answers, the answer will be 'no' if I need a favour etc.

My mum was driven to tears once by someones arrogance.

Where are you? she asked out of curiosity.
In a building? was the reply in sheer indignance!

My only other grudge with 02 is 50p a minute to talk to someone in technical, but thats a rarity. It cost £8 to sort my 'porting'. Part of that was becasue someone forgot after nearly a week to start it happening, then the wrong phone was switched off a few minutes later.

With T mobile, it cost an additional £2.50 a month to read my Yahoo mail with wap, and use messenger as well. With 02, it's part of the package. I use wap an awful lot to read my AoL and Yahoo mail, as well as read news etc. I got a beeter tarriff going through 02 direct than I did with any high street shop.
