I have about 4 uncooked breasts of turkey and don't want to use them all at once.
But on the packet, it says once opened use immediately .in big capital letters. Can't I wrap them in foil and eat the next day ?!

They should be fine for a couple of days in the fridge.
What is the use by date? That's not set in stone but if they are before it then you should have a day or two left on them. A smell will also indicate whether they are past their prime. Or freeze them for use another day (obviously no point if you are definitely using them tomorrow) |

I buy a lot of meat and veg from farm shops, butchers etc. so there are no sell by/use by dates which really are quite a modern day thing. Once you get into that habit you learn so much about storing foodstuff in the right conditions, how to use your eyes and nose and, ultimately, waste less food. It really is liberating!

No problem with keeping them for a couple of days, but make sure they get cooked right through. Heat will kill 99% of bacteria.
