I've got a new Walkers crisps flavour "Boredom & Yawning", or how about "Philandering & Litigation"

Its a wonder they didn't branch out to do peanuts, to rival KP.
Are they out of fashion these days ?

Gary says this was fascinating for him. I'm glad it was for someone.

What a completely pointless episode. Surely they could have found someone with a more interesting story than this.
probably, but they might have to pay them whereas Lineker was probably free. I think they're approaching Tim Henman for the next series

At least Gary enjoyed himself, but that was possibly the dullest episode of WDYTYA? I've ever seen.

We'll have to ask Paul Daniels what it was...

I've just heard William Hague on the news and he sounded exciting.

So Danielle, what first attracted you to the millionaire ex-footballer Gary Linekar..

I found him to have no warmth, he said he was emotionally attached to these two men, but that certainly never came across!

he was like a robot that doen't fire on all cylinders. Pathetic how he wanted to show off his house and a media room that isn't even built yet. Presumably he'll be watching repeats of himself on tonight's programme

I appear to be in a minority here because I enjoyed the episode, I can't remember laughing at any other. I thought the fowl up the chimney was very amusing and I liked Gary. An altogether nice chap who obviously doesn't take himself too seriously.

Think they had to include MOTD just to juice it up a bit.

Danielle's evenings and weekends must seem endless.

Errr....I really enjoyed tonight's offering....I suspect the researchers soon discovered there was no one standout family line to follow and so decided to go with the contrast and compare two family lines...and I thought it worked well because when push comes to shove it would't surprise me if this tale of survival on the bottom rung the ladder and making the most of our opportunities is typical of the majority of family histories...re Gary Lineker....God you guys are harsh

I just find it interesting that when he was married previously he was barely in the press. Now he is with Danielle who is attempting some kind of showbiz career he is always getting papped....wonder who made the decision to do that?!

Not really. I doubt she's there much.

Incredibly dull episode. I suspected it would be from the start from the 'look how much money have I' scenes started.

Such a shame when some subjects could easily have more than one programme devoted to their family history.

Well, only two 'friends' so far and one is Allan Hansen!

He needs to get a new PR now that Max is otherwise engaged

I also enjoyed tonight's WDYTYA. I do feel that the programme makers missed a trick by not explaining how the framework knitters worked and were exploited at the time. James Pratt's occupation was barely mentioned and it WAS the whole crux of his poaching. He stole food to feed his family as not only did he fall foul of the rich landowners but also of the people who exploited the framework knitters to the point where they could not earn enough to feed themselves. It was an industry equally as bad as the spinning and weaving factories in Lancs and Yorks but is rarely mentioned.
