I was thinking the same. Especially Sir whathisface, the head of Cable and Wireless.

There's some age disparity in her families relationships, 10 year gaps.
Second relationships and children while married to someone else.
She seemed so exited that someone else in the family was in showbiz.

Yes of course. But not about all these other revellations.

She seems really genuine. I was expecting her to be a bit of a diva.

Same here but I absolutely love her

I thought the butcher woman, genealogist, was poor. The family situations ( living together but married to someone else) was fairly common, even to having a bigamous marriage sometimes

I wonder if there is any resentment towards her. I know its not her fault but they were his real family.

There's bound to be.

Her son is a real character like her.

Who's Sir whathisface, what's his connection to this/Minnie?

Anyway quite enjoyable, mostly because she seemed so happy with it all.

We've had bigamy before in this program haven't we, Bruce Forsyth's family?
HIs ancestor was even 'worse' IIRC, buggered off and left one family, they assumed he was dead.

All three stories so far have been highly watchable. Minnie seemed at ease with everyone she met and it was a fascinating story. Especially the RAF segment.

Much more interesting than the borefest that was Nigel Havers.
Her father's war story was very sad and she seemed genuinely moved by everything she discovered.

I thought that'd be the case, waiting for the previous spouse(s) to pop their clogs before they could marry.
I've got the same in my family tree, up in the Cotswolds in the 1850s. Three children with a woman he was married to while having two children with a woman he wasn't married to. Then he married the second woman straight after the first wife died.

Real enjoyable programme. This series has been showing that a lot of people have big mysteries only one or two generations back.
