He has said that he gets quiet & down sometimes because other HMs get on his nerves because they are so much younger & he forgets that. Personally I think he acts just as childish at times through his wanting to be the center of attention. I think to analyze so much of BB like he does has to ruin your BB experience & I think that sums up how desperate he is to win it. He has made no secret of the fact he needs to get a career out of this & he is probably wondering if he has done enough so far to do that

Definitely agreed, but he's kept it to himself, however he can't really hide his disappointment.

True re the tagline but in his defence re wolfy he said she's either an actress or just a liar, there were too many inconsistencies. So he wasn't wrong. I think he had picked up on her contrived persona (and her fibs).

Yes, I believe this too. As soon as Sophie said it, he was immediately downcast, not Dan at all and has stayed the same all week

I said the same as soon as he was picked and said so on the forum too. The hms have been going on for weeks that Sophie and Sam are likeable and will make the finals. So it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that you've been set up for a fall. I don't blame him for feeling down. He's been stitched up by BB because there's no way that Sophie or Sam are going to go. If it was just him and one other, then yes, he would have a chance, but not in a 3-way against very innocuous hms.

Edited to add that you have fans of other hms who see him as a threat and would prefer him out of the way to ensure he doesn't become more popular in the upcoming weeks.

I can get why people find him annoying, I do at times as well... but the seething rage some people have against him just shows their own "issues" against policeman, intelligent people, ________ etc

I've found the forum to be very negative and spiteful this series against a select few of the hms. That's why I stay away for a day or two.

It doesn't bother me at all. I find it part of what I like about him. I honestly don't see why this upsets people. Have they no sense of humour?

Agreed - I can't say I haven't contributed to it some but it's been very nasty.. some people are losing the plot... its a TV show, not Hunger Games! I blame VTE

Vote to Evict is very negative, so yes I agree that it already implants the seed of negativity in the first place. That and the spin-off show BBOTS hasn't helped with their negative panelists, biased presenters, and loud-mouthed sheep of an audience.

Well that's what I find comical about it. It's become a kind of gimmick and the hms know it too and laugh at it. I don't know if they think he's so clever. He's been called up a few times for being a bit of a pain in the ass or smart alec, but he'll be a big loss to the show if he goes this early.......and so unfairly too.

I agree with this ^^^ how on earth can he switch off a thought process that is probably second nature to him? He's very shrewd and intelligent, as well as kind and affectionate. I'd love him to be in my circle of friends.
