Indeed a long time coming..perhaps they might have waited a tad longer before releasing another poor update. The downloads take for EVER and - in my experience so far - stop just short of downloading with a message which says "insufficient space available" - and I have 8.5 gb left on the ol' Ipad. Simply years behind the BBC app and yet years after its appearance. Go figure.

Granted, it does have a few bugs. But these things generally get fixed in due course.
Incidentally, it is also available for Android, something still waiting for BBC users. I for one still hope AirPlay will come soon. But all that aside, the UK is quite lucky to have two FTA services offering digital downloads, which is 200% more than any other country I know of
