I think it said available over wireless only until the 31st. Not sure though. Has anyone had the update over a mobile network?

Has anyone noticed the change to the clock when setting an appointment? I've now got a clock face to select the time rather than the old style scroll thingy. Not sure if I like tbh!

That was in 4.2, it's an update to the calendar not the OS.

Once you get used to it, it's actually pretty cool. You know intuitively where the times are on a clock so it's quite easy to pick out what time you want, rather than the scroll-through-half-the-numbers-oops-now-I've-gone-too-far-scroll-back-a-bit method we had before.

That having been said, my favourite input method is the one on the Jelly Bean alarm/timer setting. Great big dial-pad-like keys and you simply tap in the time you want. What could be simpler?

I only updated this morning but an update appeared very late last night.

I can't imagine you'll have to wait long now. I also tried the 'Google Framework' reset but it made no difference.

I think it will download it over mobile after the 31st if your phone hasn't found wifi before then. Mine said waiting til 28th July for wifi.

My Nexus 4 updated itself the other day , downloading circa 200 md of data without permission -- installing it has wrecked my previously perfect set up . My gps on - off switch , data on off switch no longer works & all my settings for Macro droid have gone plus the notification bar is full of icons where previously there were none !

The phone now has a lag in operation -- what a shame . Is it possible to go back to the previous working version ?

The notification icon issue is caused by developers being sneaky and doing the wrong thing. Future updates to their apps should fix it.

You can, but it'll require you to wipe your device, and if you're doing that you may as well just do a factory reset using 4.3 and your lag will probably go away.

Just bought my Nexus 4 on Friday and immediately flashed it to 4.3 and factory reset upon receipt. No lag or any other problems here.

In fact, the Nexus 4 is incredibly smooth-running and fast. Best phone i've ever had, and no more having to wrestle with nightly builds of Cyanogenmod in order to get a decent experience, as with my old phone.

Now i just need a tariff with data in order to use the phone to its potential.

No problem here at all, phone still works as well as it did before the update. No different notifications than I had before.
